August 4, 200718 yr In honor of 300 being the most awesome movie to ever be ripped from the entrails of frank miller, there is to be a contest of what person can have their runescape character look most like a spartan. Take screen shots of your characters and post them here, and no photoshops like king leonidas's head on your runescape character, because leonidas will never be java, lest the world as we know it be transformed into swirling torrent of hate and chaos, much like world 2 falador. anyways, screen shots below. come on peeps i wanna see you do this! I only read 3 of those spoilers, but I will hunt you down and kill you!!! I don't care if that's a threat. I've waited too long (and have another 2 weeks to wait) for this series to be ruined by some arrogant little twit like you!!!!

August 4, 200718 yr You do realize the King Leonidas for the 300 film probably isn't what he really looked nor dressed like? Not even close? But if you want to replicate the film, then probably your best match would be Tyras Helm (nice match), Red Cape, Obby Shield (only round shield that looks remotely close), a hasta (only 1-handed spear you can find in RS), Fury amulet (shape matches pretty close), and there really are no boots in RS that would be close to what he was wearing. Live free or die. First option is exhausted, so guess what remains?

August 4, 200718 yr My best replication. + Replacing the Veracs Brassard with an Iron Plate should best replicate the chest piece for battle. + Replacing the Steel Hasta with a Steel Scimitar will replicate the close range combat scene. Tyras helm - Tyras helm is the only helm that had the spartan look. Veracs Brassard - I chose the brassard so I could get the bare chest effect. Guthans Chainskirt - Showed off the legs like the Spartans in the movie and also allowed me to reproduce the shin guards just like in the movie. Mirror Shield - The shield that closely matched their matalic round shields. Steel Hasta - Closely resembled the spears they wore. Also used so a shield could be equiped. Leather Vambraces - Closely resembles the metal arm guards they wore. Leather Boots - Not many shots of their feet, but its common knowledge warrior wore leather padded shoes for long marches. Red Cape - The type of cape they wore. Amulet of Fury - Closely resembles the wolves claw necklace. August 4, 200718 yr -steel hasta -fremmnenik wooden shield (not the craftable one!) -steel chain or fighter torso -steel plateskirt -legends cape or red similar teamcape that's my version, at least I painted some stuff and put it on tumblr
August 4, 200718 yr 300 fails. I'm so sick of people saying "we will fight for the glory of Sparta!" And: "We are Sparta!". Oh well, the best spartan suit is Tyras helmet (ick) iron/bronze/steel chain mail, iron/bronze/steel plate skirt and iron/bronze/steel short sword. Avatar by me; don't steal!
August 4, 200718 yr I made that for a 300 based TET event. Those 1 handed spears didn't exist then though.

Guthans Chainskirt - Showed off the legs like the Spartans in the movie and also allowed me to reproduce the shin guards just like in the movie. veracs plate skirt would probably be best. if it had the same shin guards.
