Emp75
I'm sorry for your loss, but I think it's totally fair, you admitted to breaking the rules and Jagex owns your account, therefore they have the right to ban anyone they please for any reason. Before they let you play you clicked the box that said that you agreed to the terms of use. That being said you really have no reason to say that it's unfair for you being banned for breaking the rules. you're pretty smart. He got 15 black marks from within a year all slammed on him on one day? Maybe he deserved these and instead of insta banning anybody jagex decided to review the hundreds of thousands of reports and just caught up on these offenses. He knew he was breaking the rules and he should have been smarter about it. If it takes jagex a year to catch up with these offenses then they need to set their priorities straight. They r really bad at setting priorites straight, they promised construction way back in rsc and they come out with it 4 yrs later. Then they promise Summoning at the beginning of rs2 release yet its not even out yet. Instead of making barrows they should've finished full drag that they started way back. If Jagex knew how to set priorities straight they wouldn't have so many problems and maybe I would have gotten a warning b4 i get slammed 14.2 black marks in 10 secs. It is unfair that I get banned from yrs old offenses because Jagex doesn't know anything about priority

Kenshinjapan
and at local, ive read it so dont waste your time, sure they have the right to that, they have the right to ban anyone in the game for no reason at all but does that make it fair? Yes, it does. And your ignoring the point that rcty brought up; that he said most of his offenses were rule 1. He could have macroed, hacked, lured, scammed, and broken every rule out there only one time each but breaking rule 1 20 times still makes it most of his offenses. YOU! ATTEND TET EVENTS! CLICK HERE! He never stated that those were the only offenses he had ever made. What I'm trying to say is that what he has shown us could only be 10% of the offenses ever occured. YOU! ATTEND TET EVENTS! It is unfair that I get banned from yrs old offenses because Jagex doesn't know anything about priority I'm sorry but I think that you have a weak argument in this post. First of all they promised construction, and it eventually came out didn't they? Yes they haven't come out with summoning yet but i'm sure they will eventually. I don't think that we should be the one to judge whether or not if they have their priorities straight. We don't know exactly how long it takes to add something to the game. We get a little glimpse that it takes months of planning (with the development diaries) just to revamp one monster. I think that they are simply taking their time to make sure that the content is sufficient enough to release into the game. Unless you want them to throw out summoning even though it may not be ready just because they promised it 4 years ago, only to get flammed and countless rants about how RS was better without it (which they will get anyway). Players constantly are demanding updates once a week so they have to shift a little bit of focus on bigger projects. Plus the majority of the Jagex staff is customer support and all they do all day is review countless abuse reports and I think that they make the correct decision most of the time. I have the upmost respect for them and hope they keep up the good work. Even though this really has nothing to do with my argument, and just to be controdicting (because I sometimes enjoy it ), they said they weren't going to release anymore dragon items and then they came out with d axe, d full helm. Italian5kamikaze
^wow lol hope the rest of appeals get accepted, and i like how it says your perm banned yet muted for three more days lol but dang thats a lot of offences they waited to hit you with. Emp75
you didnt tell us anything about password scamming or encouraging others to break rules As for encouraging others to break rules, I have no idea how I encouraged others to break a rule, the evidence shows nothing about me trying to encourage another player to break a rule. For the password scamming, i was joking but ya, no one takes jokes so I guess i'll take that black mark. Since every joke i do i get reported for. Markup
Yes. For the concern of spam: Edit: My account recently got a perm mute. But one of the offences was so stupid that I may aswell give a warning. Apprently we can be reported for saying stuff like tip.it and zybez. I'm not sure how many black marks that got me, but I was 0.1 off a temporary mute.

RoswellCrash
Yes it fair. Break the rules you get a ban is it so hard to understand, you deserve to be banned maybe in a few years when you have grown up and can stop yourself using cuss words, maybe just maybe you should come back -.- exactly, this post doesnt seem to be a rant about getting banned, it seems to be about being allowed to play an extra year on a character he didnt deserve? and for jagex not having priorities straight, rsc's game engine made it impossible to release player owned houses at the time, construction was never promised it was hinted at. summoning was on the list of things planned that doesnt mean they promised it. and even if they have 200+ people working in the CS department, thats roughly 1.25 people per server, with 1000 people per server (low estimate) so at any given time thats each person working with 800 players. i would LOVE to see you deal with 800 people who are overly excited to report every wrongdoing they saw. Believe or not, but just because you worked hard for your stats doesn't make the offences you made any less. :o If a level 3 and a level 126 are both constantly swearing, they each deserve the same punishment. If you're breaking rules you knew all too well were there, you don't deserve your account, know matter how good it was. How do i not deserve my account? I worked hard for my stats and bank. So what, I swore a few times, I can guarantee you have swore just as much as me. So don't say I dont deserve my account. how dare you accuse me of something. i dont swear in the game and never have, i dont swear in real life although i have on occasion. i find it more effective to express myself instead of throwing around over used words. and you do not deserve your account, you said it yourself. you said you were guilty of each black mark, your complaint is that all of them were put on at once, your account deserved to be banned a year ago, therefore you had an extra year to play on the character. Lemeja
Like I said, if I were you I'd just forget about this topic some people on these forums are complete (censored) when it comes to people getting punished. Lots of people are eating out of Jagex's pocket and pretending to be like their secretaries.
underu2000
Well...technically you should be grateful that jagex has low priorities on banning people, or you would have been banned a long while ago! I don't like how jagex doesn't give warnings, but the way I see it, it's long overdue for a temp ban or mute. Perm ban is harsh, but its a little tough love, and remember, that is a lot of rules you broke there. :boohoo: And did you say you went from 8 to 15, or 0.8 to 15? I wouldn't blame you for being angry over the latter. Life is a joke. Yeah, I don't get it either.
