The possible reason maybe that richer people now have more options to choose from when buying more expensive things, such as 3rd age. If you want a mask, keep it; but if the sole purpose that you have one is to make money off of it, then I'd advise against it. Unless you're quitting for a long time or buying tons and tons of them, rare investments typically don't pay off well enough to make it worth your while.
