September 6, 200718 yr I understand a lot of players where interested in a TeamSpeak server I have recently set-up a 100 slot TeamSpeak server that I am willing to share with the tip.it community, I have posted this here as to get the message across the people interested. The IP address is: 84.17.191.40:12267 Please could you try to keep the talking mature, and please keep it within the RuneScape rules, this if for players to communicate while pk'ing or playing mini games. Picture of the set-up, as you can see there are private rooms for use for groups of friends and more can be made on request. Here is a link to view the status of the server. http://www.tsviewer.com/index.php?page=ts_viewer&ID=36627 I have set up a room for Tip.its even tonight on the TeamSpeak server all welcome. - Twitter | RuneScape FB Group | My PC
September 6, 200718 yr ahh, I had Ts over a year ago for a clan I was in, since then I deleted it, I'll have to find it again and download. good fun. My dA account..retired, as of the 1st January 2008.
September 6, 200718 yr teamspeak? What's that...? Is that on the forums or something? EDIT: Don't flame me for my ignorance please... :notalk: Thanks to Quarra for the awesome sig!Xbox360 Gamertag = Tintin113
September 6, 200718 yr Author teamspeak? What's that...? Is that on the forums or something? Sorry I should have explained, TeamSpeak is a application which enables people to speak with one another over the Internet. You need the software and a microphone. That's there website. http://www.goteamspeak.com/ - Twitter | RuneScape FB Group | My PC
September 6, 200718 yr Alright, kk, thanks  Thanks to Quarra for the awesome sig!Xbox360 Gamertag = Tintin113
September 6, 200718 yr nice idea but i think it might be harder to follow convo's than tipit clan chat. it can be tough to heareveryone with 8 people on.. specially if someone has a dodgy mic or background noise. It could be handy for TET events though.

It could be handy for TET events though. welcome to xbox live, where every jackass coughs chews and plays rap music with the quality of a vinyl record that has been touched on by a belt sander. things like these things occasionally allow for harassment. if you goto you tube and search for "ventrilo harassment" and "teamspeak harassment" your going to find just how stupid people act and what they do. btw, jurassic park's ventrilo harassment is very funny.
September 6, 200718 yr Author Yeah we all know the hassle of the sound, I have set up private channels so players can take them and there friends away from the rest of the people. You don't have to sit and stay in the same room you can all move freely around, also I am open to requests for more rooms & so on. Thanks for reporting me.. Like this post is causing harm.. - Twitter | RuneScape FB Group | My PC
September 6, 200718 yr This is a good idea but why report this? I mean useful to gather ppls for certain events. I am Teh_King[My dA][My Last.FM][My Twitter]
September 6, 200718 yr Yes :D i then you can all hear my english accsent as i go "spot of tea anyone it is devine" 180th to 99 Divination + 1st W36er Rambo, cannot pk call your friends bro :). Wait nevermind none of SAPK/PKS can. Kappa.
September 6, 200718 yr I can't believe someone reported this.. there is nothing wrong with having a Ts server at all, is there? nope. My dA account..retired, as of the 1st January 2008.
September 6, 200718 yr Author I am English to we have northern accents, American, Caribbean and all sorts. I might come in handy for those post " How do you pronounce "XXX" , and just for a good old game of castle wars, you will have to mind some people who can be a pain but you are not forced to stay in the same channel as them you can move away. - Twitter | RuneScape FB Group | My PC
September 6, 200718 yr The problem is is that most people who would be worth communicating with via this already have another server they can use. It's a good idea, but with the runescape community as it is a public TS will never work in my opinion.

Once the server starts getting used I may make everyone register and then set a password to help keep the rif raf out, but yes some of the kids are immature that I can deal with as long as they are not being rude. - Twitter | RuneScape FB Group | My PC
September 6, 200718 yr Author Heh I'm just listening sorta weird... :? That's just because we are all friends, and we talk a load of rubbish lol - Twitter | RuneScape FB Group | My PC
September 6, 200718 yr Going to download it now and see how it is in there. :) Edit: Found it 20 seconds after the first edit. :P Oh. How do I get my name in there and talk in the chat? :-k
September 6, 200718 yr Author I am not a complete expert on teamspeak and sometimes it to do with windows setting, but try this. Got to control panel>Sounds & audio devices, then open the voice tab and run the test hardware, if all that fails to help, try the TeamSpeak manual, when you download the application go to help for the manual. - Twitter | RuneScape FB Group | My PC
September 6, 200718 yr I guess I'll give it a try and see if it doesn't cause me too much lag in the game.
September 6, 200718 yr Author Yeah thanks for visiting Dark Dude see you gain hopefully, that was just a server refresh that happens most night at 11 GMT Well thanks for checking it out everyone, your welcome on any time. I am off to bed now, but still jump on, maybe you'll catch me tomorrow. - Twitter | RuneScape FB Group | My PC
September 6, 200718 yr Yeah, I'll probably be on again tommorrow. Really tired and have a headache so I'm off to bed too.
September 7, 200718 yr Is it possible to hook up an X-Box live microphone to the computer? Probably not, but I don't want to buy a new microphone.
