omg I love C-span im watching it right now!!!

i wouldn't really like the increase of people playing, as i usually like less crowded training areas and such, and plus the would need like 5 new worlds to hold all the new people, possibly more

If they put ads on, it bloody well better not be on Nickelodeon or disney channel! :ohnoes:

If they did that they would just be wasting that money on something unimportant and that would ultimately make the average IQ of runescape lower lol.

Tv is about aesthetics. You don't advertise something like Runescape, when the next add on TV is going to be for Gears of War or whatever else.

 

 

 

You can't get across the POINT of Runescape in a TV add, it would be a complete waste of money.

:shock: When Runescape even advertised once on miniclip, everyone went crazy about them ruining runescape! Now you think it would be a good idea to put it on TV!? I mean, if I owned runescape, I wouldn't do it, simply because it would bring the whole game down into dissarray.

 

 

 

If they bring out a TV ad, runescape will be swamped with newbs, prices will go haywire, and it could either built up a larger game, or bring an already big game crashing around about their heads.

It would be a big mistake for Jagex, lots of hyper immature little kids would be running around. It would bring down the game.

Wow its the good old RuneScape TV Ads post I remember when these where two a penny....

 

 

 

I don't care if they do, would be interested to see what the advert was like and that's about that, RuneScape hitting the TV would be a wast people see games like Crysis on TV and then see a RuneScape ad what will they want more. Mini Clip was good because its all about Java games.

 

 

 

With TV its almost as if the marker has been set I can't see a Java game making a move there.

Only place they could really advertise is on G4, thats the only channel i can think of that might actuall be good to advertise on. But still, I would'nt want to have advertisments for runescape on tv.

Imagine how many ppl will be playing if they acutally did that... =P~

It would be disastreous for the RS community, but if it means more money, you can bet your pixels Jagex will take it into consideration.

hmm not really sure how i would feel..it would probably bring new players to the game which might mean more updates? who knows :P

 

 

 

Yes, it might bring new updates, but also a lot of noobs. And I prefer less noobs than more updates. So I would become sad if they made commercial for RS on TV.

God, imagine the 6 year olds flooding into the game :shock:

Think about it, where would Jagex put a TV ad? On a kids channel. It'll be miniclip all over again.

I'd rather they didn't advertise it on TV. They'd end up advertising it on Disney or Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network and then we'd just have a bunch of kids all over again.

i can just imagine it now,participate in quests ranging from 2 cats to a organisation linked to a fictiocous plague which look like the cast of a my chemical romance music video(mourners),mindblowing 3dish graphics,polyphonic sound and a limited assortment off beards and hairstyles #-o

If they did that my chat screen would be spammed with "phr33 st00f plox?", there should be more bloodshed in rs. not more stupid quests where u help a squire to get a sword by feeding a dwarf pie! why should I care if this guy gets fired for losing a sword, it doesnt affect me in game.
