Nobody's ever done that....If you're referring to 50, his whole shooting incident happened before he went major... And after the first day (I copped graduation :D , Champion, Good Life, and Big Brother are my favorite tracks), and I sqwear to God, Kanye SOLD OUT. There were people waiting in a line for the second shipment. Curtis sat there. Apparently Kanye is winnign at slaes in this point. Wonderful news for the progression of hip-hop. :D

September 12, 200718 yr Heh, I bought Graduation and my friend bought CURTIS, then I burned him a CD with Graduation on it and he burned me a CD with CURTIS on it :P I've listened to most of the songs on both albums a bunch of times already, and I have to say the only songs I like on CURTIS are Still Will Kill, Amusement Park (Although, sounds too much like Candy Shop), I Get Money, and Straight to the Bank. The best songs of Graduation are Bittersweet Poetry, Can't Tell Me Nothing, Champion, Drunk and Hot Girls, The Glory, Good Morning, Homecoming, Stronger, and I can't decide whether I Wonder is a good song :lol:

No, first because he said he would quit making solo music but not any other kind. Secondly because he took the whole thing back and decided not to compete.
September 13, 200718 yr I have Stronger and his apparently popular song Good Life (Numbers 1 and 7 on iTunes) I've only had Stronger around 24 hours now, and it's already in my Top 25 Most Played my iPod says. (Dating back to 2005, some songs) I just got Ayo Technology, idk what to think... Imo Kanye is better, and in the long run is gonna sell more CDs. I love his style of music, so techno, I don't really like the intense music of 50. Although Stronger is #1, and Ayo is only #8, Curtis is #1 on Albums, and Graduation is #3. (On iTunes)

I wouldn't be surprised, afterall he did do a YouTube video in his boxers, get knocked out by Tru Life for talking a lotta garbage, admit to not calling the cops on a serial killer if they were his next door neighbor, told Bill O'Reilly "youuuuuu maddddd, you maddddd, I got dirt on you doggie" (But nas' makes up for it with that interview he did awhile ago making I'Reilly look like the clown he is), and tried to make purple cool. :P Could somebody explain to me what this has got to do with the future of rap? It's just two albums being released. Am I right It's much more than that. This is the biggest release date in hip-hop history (well, I suppose that could be debated, but that's another story). This is the public telling the media what kind of direction they want hip-hop to take: The same garbage that's been being shoved down the mainstream throat for the last 5(ish) years (with some notbale exceptions of course), or a new change, one that is at least lyrically more creative and deeper than what it is now.

If it gets 50 to stop rapping, then it may lead to other garbage rappers like Soulja Boy, and Lil Wayne and pretty much everyone else that raps to leave also. I liked kanyes album a lot more, although for me some songs sounded, that they should fit in category "dance", but i guess thats whats hip hop is turning in to-hip pop :ohnoes:
