So maybe they're hypocritical. I'd be willing to bet you've been hypocritical before and you'll do it many times more before you die. You go ahead and pretend you're perfect, smart, and better than everyone else. You're worthless in the eyes of the world. You're a number (same as the rest of us) to almost everyone, don't act so high and mighty. Don't think you're just a number? Look at your social security card. That's what the gov't thinks of you. Now I'm wondering if anyone thinks it's worth their time to stick up for you.. Im not acting high and mighty god, I dont really care If im nothing to the world I dont give a crap if I do nothing to change it. You might say your acting like your better than me and thus being hypocritical about being hypocritical about being hypocritical. This is a loop thats not gonna end if you guys keep saying the same crap youve picked up from watching people flame on the rants forum seriously. you guys say we are all people and now suddenly we are numbers, now suddenly we dont matter yet you find reason to defend them saying they are. This topic may soon delve into a conversatino about how emo people are better than everyone else. You know what I want my job to be? it was a physicist but then I realised this world is full of people who think that I could never make that goal and then I began thinking that Teachers, and employers think the same. So now you know what I want to be? A fisherman, because everyone thinks i can do it. I have to change my goals because people like you think nobodies special, noones an individual, noone is anything to you and your beliefs might eventually hinder someone elses goals or dreams. All emos do is dress a certain way, and listen to certain music, which guess what, metal heads do too, go pick on them. They all don't cut themselves, feel sorry for themselves, nor act depressed. Let me ask you, do you have a large group of emo friends to form your opinions, or just what you read about in teen weekly? pretty much half my school is full of "emo" people. This is how they act and what they do its not just "dressing a certain way". Over exaggerate much? I highly doubt half your school are emo, as you'd get knocked calling your emo mate a gaymo. An over-generalization, blanket statement, whatever. The word itself is a label, one that is incorrectly applied to a lot of people. The "culture" of goth/punk/emo has really been around for a long time and probably will be around for a lot longer. I'm not a part of it but I know several who are, and a lot of it isn't what most people think. And just because you wear black, and think songs about death or with deep, emotional messages are cool, does not mean you a) cut yourself B) are depressed c) Are a "f*cking loser f*g p*ssy who needs to get a life and get f*cking laid". Maybe you're like me, and don't buy into all of the subculture and simply enjoy the depth of some of the songs.
