this is why I only give out noose wands when I show people how to hunt... They see me in my graahk torso and ask me to show them so I give them one of around 600 noose wands and walk them all the way to the iceberg... where i then take 20 minutes of my time showing them how to hunt over the internet >.< I dont know why I do it but I do it and they always express their gratitude wich makes me feel fuzzy XD

I would say just a lemon. I have given countless rune items to low levels and if they pm me constently, I just ignore them till they stop. Don't let their small child attitudes ruin that good feeling you get inside. :mrgreen:

Im a very nice person one runescape. When ever someone ask for me for help i 99% of the time help. And if they ask for money i most time give 10k. I just wish they would be nice and insted of saying..." can you give me more money" and say "ty so much for the donation...can me be firneds". Thats what i think

i usally give them advice or if i have a spare addy and under item i might give it

I'm always nice to "newbs" because I remeber when I used to be like that. What I do is, give them 25 rune essence, and tell them to go to W16, and I explain how to do it. Just say "Thanks dude!"Others say "wat noob u dont got moneyz to give meh?!!?!?@2!1?!?!2" And others just say " :uhh: explain it to me again?" I mean, just yesterday in Varrock bank, I'm walking around in my varrock armor (yea, its the armor that you get from the easy section. Be quiet.) and all the sudden I see "omfg u didnt tel me dat der was requyierments to wer dis1!!! reported!!!!" I, being curious look into the matter. And find out, that a lvl 78, sold full white armor to a lvl 61, without tell her that there was requierments. Of course, the lvl 61 couldn't wear, and reported the lvl 78. The lvl 78 called the lvl 61 a "cmb noob" and so I reminded the lvl 78, that he, is also a "noob" I mean, I could get 78 CMB in a day or two. Then, I told the lvl 61 that always research items before buying. And since the lvl 78 wouldn't do a "trade back" I asked how much the lvl 61 paid for the full white. She said it was her whole bank value. She said she payed 30k, I went to the bank and gave her 35k. It wasn't much tio me, but it meant a lot to her. And actually, she never came back and asked for more, she just constantly thanked me. Which is why I like helping "noobie" players out.

Anybody who goes around ASKING for money should never get it. If someone obviously needs it, but is trying hard to get it on their own, then it might not be so bad to help them out a bit. However, don't make them reliant on other people to gain money :P.

 

 

 

Unfortunately, runescape is very full of greedy people, and all that really matters to them is how much gold they can get ingame. Most of them don't even play for the sake of playing a game it seems :-k .

Well, first of all, I wouldn't have helped her out just on the basic premise of "noobspeak." Someone is 100% more likely to receive help from me if they at least make an attempt to spell correctly. However, those who use words like "dis, dat, wif, plz, wer, etc.." immediately turn me off. Hell, it's almost like a virtual slap in the face to me.

After far too many incidents like that, I just don't bother now.

Yeah, I agree with Ugafan here. I don't think its very healthy to hold a grudge, and one for a few green pixels at that.

Wait a sec, that can't be right :-s . This is RuneScape. If you do that, chances are they'll jump atop your head and beg repeatedly for a net with a golden trim.

 

 

 

This happens alot to me, but almost everytime I take 5 minutes off my time to explain to them begging or anything similar isn't the way to make the money they want.
