In my eyes 230m in RS2 is harder than 10m in rsc was unless we talk about the very first years of rsc. If you had the right skills (*cought* rune mining *cought*) 10 mils was pretty much nothing.

 

 

 

Yes, but you *are* one of the high levels I mentioned who had 10 mil because of high level skills. ;) In other words, yes the elite would have 10 mil but hardly anyone else. On the other hand, to make that 10 mil you had to get 85 mining when it was still worth a lot. How long did 85 mining take? Not one week, I bet.

 

 

 

For example, back in the day Bluerose could make 10 mil in 3 days, does that make it generally easy to make 10 mil on RSC? Nopers. Just for Bluerose it's easy, the rest of us wouldn't be able to get it that fast.

Also the fact that Chewy Shoe had collected MANY pinks away from the markets affected to their supply and thus to their price.

yeah well i never liked the pink hat thats why i never attempted to get one. I remember people always talkin about chewy and gasheart. gasheart didn't have as many hats as people thought unless she sold em around the time of the dupe. She was actually the one that sold me my white back on classic

 

 

 

He sold most of his hats the same day it happened: he smelled how there was something fishy going on and sold majority of his hats. He had many of them and funded 99 smith after selling them, but unlike Chewy, he collected them pretty equally and merchanted while Chewy only collected pinks.

 

 

 

Btw here's his bank during the journey to 99 smith AFTER selling the party hats....

I'm basically comparing the same money making methods and which was harder. Not Rune mining vs. Nature crafting. Thats what i WANT to have a discussion about. But never the less it's not going to be that ever.

=D> Good job trying to talk about the past to some one who was actually there, yes there was rune in the first year of rs, i owned my first rune long in late 2001, mieli was much higher lvl then me at that time, so maybe you should watch who you talk down to, if you actually played rsc like you seem to be making out you would know mieli was one of the highest lvls and also one of the most popular players in rs history.

 

There was rune miners fairly early on, some that come to mind are robbinwood, hohto, arris, tame elf, rabbit4.

 

Btw seph, mieli had more xp in 2002 then you have now.

Well, considering a White party has gone from 3M to 330M, that 200M is about 22B...

Immediatly after rs2 came out and maybe 2 weeks before he quit rs for good he showed me 465m cash in game, never did find out if he bought his hats back at that time, he said he was going to, if he did he is probably the richest rs acc left.

Trading and skilling of certain skills can easily go together. I had 99 firemaking, 87 smithing, 85 mining, 91 or so cooking too.

 

 

 

And I know of gasheart that he spend about just as much time trading actively in varrock world 1 as I did in fallador world 2 - which is about 12 months non-stop. :lol: Gasheart and I traded a lot in the same sectors back in the days too.

My first ever holiday rare item i got from original Moderator in level 40+ wildy when i was at greater demons...i didnt know about halloween drops so i missed that day so i told there that i didnt get any pumpkin so 1min later i had pumpkin appered itself in my inventory when i guessed that mod put it there because he was standing there also...still have that pumpkin in bank.

 

 

 

later on i was also giving some of my personally picked up masks and santas away free little after drop days...but in these days i wouldnt do the same :P

yeah if you needed to ever find gasheart all you had to do is hop to varrock west w1.. gasheart offered free smithing if you had the supplies.. i'm pretty sure all gasheart did was hang in varrock lookin for deals on stuff lol..
