Yeah thats where I did it but it was a pain in the ass getting one to fly low enough to EMP.

Grenade launcher, and a little bit of luck (or skill) and you're fine.

Grenade Launchers tend to blow em up after a few shots, though. The banshees usually fly pretty slowly and pretty straight so if you time it right you can easily board it using the jetpack. ;)

Real men get a banshee during the Tip of the Spear mission, when you're assaulting the spire. When you climb the hill and get the change to "snipe" enemies at the base, they fly very low attacking Jorge. Easiest high-jack ever.

I got Halo 3 a few days ago and I beat the campaign in under 2 days. It wasn't short, which is good, but now I can't figure out how to select a mission. Help please?

Ehm... what seems to be the problem then? You go to "Campaign" -> "Select Mission" -> "Mission Start". Seems pretty straightforward. :/

Can someone list for me the hardest missions to beat on Legendary? I'm doing my Legendary playthrough, and I want to get the toughest ones out of the way first.

Pillar of Autumn for me. And Exodus. And maybe Long Night of Solace. That's what was for me.

Beat Exodus, but Nightfall is a [bleep].

 

Edit: Finished it. Died 50 times over the course of 1:26.

I find that ONI was probably one of the hardest for me at the start. The ultra elite with the conker (concussion rifle) killed me at least 20 times.

i definetly found nightfall the hardest, maybe partly because i hadn't adapted to solo legendary yet (as in the most efficient way to kill things), but i think it is definetly still pretty hard!

Nightfall is pretty easy with cloak and using the forklift trick.

What is this 'forklift' trick?

The part where Jun plants a bomb on that pillar thingy and 2 Hunters are deployed. Try and kill all the enemies on the brdige without alerting the other enemies. After that you should step into the forklift and drive it right next to the door which leads to the rest of the level. The side on which you exit the forklift should face the door. If you're close enough you'll just go straight through the door and you'll be abe to finish the rest of the level without any other enemies.

Wish I'd known that last night.

 

Anyways, just completed Tip of the Spear. Christ, Legendary is killing me. Had to back out of Long Night of Solace, because of the space part. What am I supposed to do there to avoid dying?
