cesare13
sorry for your loss. I hope people don;t come post about how its all your fault. Hackers are the scum of the earth. At the very least they didn;t get you banned by going around breaking rules. What kind of stuff did you lose out of curiousity?

mcneilp
May have something to do with that "Bubbles" virus thing jagex announced, then again, it may not. Just don't download anything you are unsure of and for the love of god make sure you have a bank pin. Also scan your system regualrly. Alg
did anyone actually read in to the announcement? 'bubbles' sounds just to be an average keylogger... they're highlighting something the community has known about for years. as for hackings, you might want to virus scan as soon as possible, then change paswords on whatever you have that has them. lordkrohn1626
always amazes me how many players get "hacked". As you might imagine, I have quite a few playing hours under my belt...never been muted, banned, "hacked".....how in the world have I been so fortunate? Lucky I guess  but then I protect my log in info, dont download stuff and act like I have some sense in the game. I dont believe that it was an outside person who truly "hacked" into runescape and stole your info, more than likely that is improbable. If they could or would, don't you think they would go after a real account like one of the top ten.............? Ask one of your snickering "friends" who you play with to give you your stuff back. purfishx
Most hackings occur when you give out your password or hints to your password or trying to use illegal Runescape sites such as MoneyBuyers  or AccountBuyers  . The last login... connect.com.fj -> An internet service provider in Fiji. Unfortunately its a broadband dynamic IP address, so there's not much more you can find out besides the location of the server they connected through. Because its an ISP server, it is highly unlikely that it was just used as a proxy. So its pretty safe to say that whoever logged into your account last, lives in Fiji. =mtw=i smoke and i drink does that make me mature Not mature, it just makes you cool..::RollinOn XTC::.Total::1953Combat::131.1/123.1 dont take it personal... im old-school-as-f**k

Makoto_the_Phoenix
Let me start from the top: I'm somewhat sorry that you were hacked, but you really should keep your computer security up to the highest levels it can be. Although nothing on the Internet will ever be totally secure, you can at least make it very secure. Anyway, to answer your latest question: .co.jp or .jp are Japanese domain extensions; .fj would actually be in Fiji. (Notice how Japan doesn't have an "f"?) So it's safe to say someone did log in from an ISP in Fiji. Where did you go to get this worm? It's uncommon for a worm to self-propagate unless it came from a "known" source.
