I like this shop update. Since I'm self-sufficient and don't buy stuff except for skill necessities like newts, I win!

 

 

 

Btw, Dueling Ring (cwars) + Hot Air Balloon to Entrana's herb shop = uber fast newt collecting.

Even though I quit I managed to drag myself back into runescape to check out these updates.

 

 

 

I must say that edgeville didn't make me "edgy" it's ok but not awesome.

 

New shop system I have to admit OWNS. Nice one jagex!! :thumbsup:

I really, really like the new edgeville. Even though it looks quite similar to the other newly updated places, it certainly looks better than before.

Seaweed and battle staff changes explained.

 

 

 

Theres plenty of other less conveniently located spawns for the lower levels too.

 

I'll certainly be thinking of other ways for players to get seaweed too.

Well, making seaweed drops noted is one good solution. Maybe adding the drops to a few more monsters would be nice. I can only think of dagannoth and molanisks that drop seaweed or an equivalent right now. Anybody know of other seaweed droppers?

An excellent update as far as i'm concerned, especially the infinite numbers of tinderboxes and other tools. Not good to get to a store and having to world hop for a 1gp item.

I have noticed a problem when buying from player stock.

 

 

 

I like to go to busy worlds and buy stuff from the general stores - things people sell when they are clearing bank space.

 

 

 

This morning, I went to Varrock store on World 4 to buy ores and gems.

 

 

 

I was clearly clicking on "buy emerald" - and I checked this out multiple times on all types of popular items. But if someone else has the quicker finger, they get the item first. That's not the problem.

 

 

 

The problem is, the shop then sells you the item that moves into its place on the bank tab.

 

 

 

So I might try to buy an emerald, and end not getting my transaction in quickly enough to get the emerald. But I would get, say, goblin mail instead. :shock:

 

 

 

There seems to be a large gap in the buying/selling transaction where the item can change right under your nose.

I submitted this as a bug, but I thought you might want to be wary if you rummage through the stores (as I do).

so whats up with karamja gloves with this shop update anyway? it does not give the discount for charter ships or shilo village

Shops update is good when you want cheapish things fast and in large quatities eg. Bronze Arrows/Knives and needles. 8-)

I think it looks pretty good as it's an old town and it needs a bit of wear and tear.

Unlimited Runes, great update.

 

 

 

I used the runes shop for merchanting, Death runes were like 210 each? and I sold them for 300 ea. I bought about 3k deaths before the update, sold them with great profit, and 2 days later they change it :XD:
