Charter crew members used to sell pineapples for farmer payments for trees, they don't anymore. Jagex is such a bunch of bastards. "Let's remove the pineapples from the charter crews, so that they have to pay a ton of money to buy them or forums, which will make them play more time in our game and make them buy more months, and let's make the poor bastards waste their time picking them up, hahahahah!"

Ffs, want proof Jagex are bastards? There u go.

1. Ever consider growing your own?

2. Why whine about one part of the update when the rest of it is actually very good? That's pretty low, if you ask me -- finding one thing out of a thousand to argue about. Give me a break.

Why are steel knifes the same price as iron ones?

When everything's been said and done, more has been said than done.

All skills 80+

i don't really understand why people get so exited about vials. infinite stock for unstackable items is largely the same as it was before the update, so the update update only benefits poor players or people who want to make money without skills- wf vial prices will only drop about 100 gp. Time is money.

The buying stackables is ok, but the effects this might have may be catastrophic.

lol one of the biggest pvp updates of the year, and tip it is discussing granite

I like the new look of Edgeville. And with the new buy-x, and infinite store mage training just got ALOT easier.(I hate runecrafting.) And BTW you can only buy 50k of something at once lol.

Wild pies will be made a little bit easier, although the best bit is still one of the hardest. ::'

Same when I heard they didn't sell seaweed anymore I swore a few times. Glass making = useless again ftl? There goes the functionality of hand in the sand quest.

Why can Jagex never have a really good update without some serious downsides? :(

*sigh*

Oh well, at least power ranging is cheap now. Bought 30k bronzes for 210k, good deal.

How much are the raw sharks from Canifis?

lol i love the "edge" puns. classic jagex humor

also edgeville looks hawt <3:

Ugh... I just went to grand tree hoping for infinite fruits, but not only is that not happening, but they don't stock 3 anymore when you trade them when they have zero of something.

Getting more and more irritated the more nerfs like this I find -.-

BUY X!!!

But no Sell X? :(

Fairly good update. I'm sure infinite stock will change the way we play now. I need to go check out Edgeville...

No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.

I have never wanted to rant about an update beforehand, but this one has tipped me over the edge. Most of this update, I'm all for. The buy-x is a great idea, as is having a main stock and a player stock (which also sets a precedent for a possible updated bank - the tabs are definitely possible). However, the complete and needless destruction of glass-making and battle staff crafting is very, very annoying.

Previously, making battle staffs was a great way of passing the time. I could level some crafting without having to spend time getting breathed on by dragons, it was fairly fun, training a few different skills at once and got me a profit at the end. Now it's pretty much useless, as getting hold of seaweed and battle staffs are now so slow I'd get bored after getting 5 of them.

I have heard that Baba Yoga only has one in stock at a time which restocks slowy, and there is no way I'm spending my pizzaz points on battle staffs. Not at the incredibly slow rate they arrive, and especially not while I'm still saving for bones to peaches.

It's especially annoying as it's needless. As evidenced by the food shops in the grand tree, it is still possible for shops to work as they used to. So why have they been annoying and stopped battle staffs? There's no reason for it. The only one that I can see is that the decision was made to remove them ages ago before they finished. Since then they've worked out a way of making shops continue on as they did in some cases, and the battle staffs were forgotten about.

The one advantage of this is that seaweed now drops noted when dropped by monsters, which means I now have the space to pick it up.

Goals to get my skills back up to a barely respectable level on the high scores:

mayjest.png

Currently going for Bone to Peaches spell. It's amazing how boring doing the same repetitive task is! Stupid MTA

So to get from 86 to 99 mage it would cost you 22,570,352 gp. And you'd also need a mud staff.

It's about 97k cast's, which is about 20k cast's less than hi alch, and not as expensive as tele-ing (law's cost more).

As long as you're not bothered about making money I guess that's pretty neat.

Wonder if there's any other faster, relatively cheap-ish mage training now.

yeah, mud staff and curse... it only takes like 6mill from mage level 76...

bodies are 16 each :P

Wow, 5m+ for me to get 99 magic. Though I need to cast Curse like 300k+ times. -.- :-k

No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.

I must say I dont really care about the pineapples getting removed from charter shops as I pick them myself in brimhaven anyways (Move your house there, then use house teleport, walk out of portal, pick 25, glory to edge, bank, house teleport, etc.)

I do care however they removed Oranges from the shops; there arent any orange trees that can be picked, now how can I get my maple tree payments without getting ripped on forums?

Now that there is an infinite amount of everything, will the price still go up when you buy a ton of something, or will it stay the same? :?:

price stays the same

failed 98's

I'm stuck as f2p and accidentally took out all my money, losing the space in my bank. I decided to spend it all on runes after this update because I needed something to with 10 million cash. I bought 27k slayer darts, during which I discovered something I haven't seen mentioned (sorry I didn't get a screenshot).

(Here's the point of my post) You cannot buy more than 50k of one item at a time. So if buying huge amounts of an item, you need to buy in intervals of 50k.

If you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.

Awesome! Thanks. :)
