It wasn't a disapointment because I didn't expect it to Grand and cool. Only thing I use it for is to recharge at totem and kill shadow warriors.

There i was, happy because i could FINALLY enter there, while walking from Falador to the guild tons of crafting scenes flash through my mind... Making tons of pie dishes (pies =P~ ), crafting jewelled necklaces and rings, gathering cowhides to sell in Al-Kharid, etc...

 

I enter, explore the place... the first let down were the guys... I said "Oh well, Runesecape is full of useless NPCs anyways." I mine lots of gold and....WHERE THE BLEEP IS THE FURNACE???!!!!

You should look much better. THere is a furnace inside the guild for pottery. :wink:

 

 

 

I think that the crafting guild is very good. It's not designed for power training to 99 crafting, but it does have the equipment to make about everything in the crafting skill and that all in one place. I like it. Of course that something like 43 crafting shouldn't give access to much better things.

 

 

 

Apart from that, I think that the dark bow was a big let down. Yes it has a very powerful special. yes, it's possibly the best KO weapon in the game. But I don't pk, so i have no use for it.

You have to understand that when the legends guild came out:

 

D square was the best shield in the game.

 

Legends cape was the best cape in the game.

 

Shadow warriors was one of the best training places in the game.

 

Black flowers and white flowers were worth a LOT.

I put aside a whole weekend for the champions guild. days of questing questing questing. finally i go in. hardly seems worth it for the dragon slayer quest. and all this time this was me!

Dragon imps, oh joy! Im so going to make huge amounts of cash now... like, not. Ive gotten dragon arrows maybe twice, out of 20 d imps. They really need to make more of those d imp spawns.

Hey, the Crafting Guild is good for f2p for it's gold. But yeah, other than it, no. I remember Trying to buy every single rune wepon. First rune long. Yuppie! Then gave it for a rune scim, much better, then the rune 2h. OH YEAH! OH YEAH! hitting 17's. use it on hill giants... 55k down the drain #-o .Better a rune baxe.....

heros was worth the quest for the D mace / battle axe (i mean, come on, i can hit 41 with its spec ) and the one blue drag.. and runite rocks!

legends is nice for cheap capes with ok bonuses (obby = 200k+, skill = 99k, legends = 625 gp?)

 

 

 

Darkbow is still fun to play with, even if you dont PK, and its spec does look pretty sweet, even without d arrows (with d arrows its like, wow )

Zammy godsword (yes, its a godsword.. but man, freezing? useless out of PvP)

That's a let down? Sounds like a heck of a place to be tbh, don't you see why you'd be dismayed (although the Legend's Quest has an imense amount of requirements).

 

 

 

I guess for me the massive let down would be the coveted Abbysal Whip. I trained my booty of a while ago to get it, but couldn't hit higher than 18, found the special was crud, and could hit higher with dlong. Sad.
