As some know, b-staving used to be easy, but with new shop update, they took out buyable seaweed/soda ash and sand buckets, for buckets, hand in sand and talking to him is good, get sand form pit there if you need more. anyways..

 

 

 

 

 

Soda ash...:

 

Req:

 

 

Pretty simple only:

 

started rfd Morge part (one when you need fish cakes) to the part where you start diving

 

 

 

**one open space in bank account**

 

 

 

also suggested you have started temple of Ikov 9just for boots of lightness, really don't need, may help, also penice gloves if wanted (if don't have bought yet, then..dont! get your self that torso!)

 

 

 

 

 

Equipment:

 

Diving apporatice

 

Fish bowl helmet

 

*Boots of Lightness

 

*Penance Gloves

 

 

 

*not needed

 

 

 

Getting There!

 

 

 

The place is in Port Khazard...to get there:

 

 

 

best to worst:

 

Map (most tele spots)

 

 

1-lunar teleport to Port Khazard

 

2. Charter ship, telly cammy and go to cathabry if not near one already...

 

2-watchtower tele/house (it at yantell) and walk NE

 

3-Fairy rings, then N,S or NE

 

4-Castle wars and walk east

 

5. orena tele

 

6. Sprit tree then ES

 

7. ardy tele

 

 

 

The route!!!

 

 

 

Pretty simple basically:

 

 

 

1. talk to murphy

 

2. go diving

 

3. go slightly north

 

 

 

4. pick the kelp, pick it in the middle of plant, its easier (till says "you do not have enough free inventory space to take that.")

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

5. go to anchor (shows a anchor on mini map, silver thing) and climb it

 

5.5 cook at fire just south of there (if desired, sometimes roges den is better)

 

6. go to blank deposit box

 

7. deposit the kelp

 

8. REPEAT until desired amount (equal to however many soda ash you are getting)

 

 

 

 

 

9. when you have desired amount, either cook at (best to worst):

 

-roges den

 

-just south of deposit box (fire) [only before you deposit]

 

-make a fire and cook outside bank (draynor best, bring 1 log and a tindy for this method)

 

-cathabery

 

-al-karid

Simply cast glass make, have 13 buckets of sand and 13 soda ashes and cast, bank them and withdraw more (you cant juts withray 1 thing and store the glass, withdraw next because you get more glass than you had supplys for it)

Now all you need to do is go to a furnace and use the buncket of sand or soda ash with the fernace, the best furnaces are:

 

one on Neitiznot (small one, but fastest)

Al karid

 

Edgville (doors are anoying so i didnt have this one higher)

-you can't use lunar spells to telly to underwater so don't suggest it

 

-you cant bring cats to go diving, so don't try

 

-Kelp is equal to seaweed, can be burned into soda ash

 

-the kelp plant never runs out of kelp, so doesn't matter if you click on same plant, or if another person is there'

 

-took about 2:08 minutes per run meaning you can get around 30 runs in one hour, get around 840 kelp per hour :thumbsup:

1.) yes, didnt mention because this is onyl abotu the soda ash part whitch has become harder to get scince the shop update

Why would you want to turn the kelp into soda ash?

to make molten glass, for orbs or somethign else (mailty orbs, for b staffs)

its a brilliant guide, i'm definitely going to be using it soon!

 

 

 

however, please check your spelling! Grammar errors are acceptable... but the post-spelling-checker catches most errors anyways!

 

(although a little more sentence structure would go a long way)

 

 

 

To be honest, I almost didn't make it through your guide because of it... which would have been an absolute shame!
