The Ultimate Aviansie Slaying Guide

Heh remember me Berrakus? You were crying for me to leave "your world" remember? Hehe...oh and the thing about using Swordfishes to heal rather than have prayer on....I already stated that. See how long you were there, I'd think you'd have much more than that but whatever.

Anyways, the Black D Hide Top w/ Monks Bottom is much better than Monk Top w/D Hide Bottom; proportionally, you lose around 40% range bonus when you use the Monk Top/Hide Bottom Configuration, while with the Hide Top/Monk Bottom, you only lose ~13% prayer bonus compared with the other setup. Obviously, most people can afford the original setup, and many either do not have a high enough prayer stat to make p pots effective (nor have money to afford a lot of prayer potions just to start nor the higher-end equipment) so this guide, I believe, is intended for those who have mediocre range (65+) and good prayer (55+). Otherwise, it'll really become frustrating.

Actually he did. Oh and that's why you use protect melee for the beginning, or just heal it up while killing Aviansies with Protect Range pray on.

Another thing I found out that is helpful is if you finished the Death to the Dorgeshuun quest, bring the Ancient Mace. It's special restores the same amount of prayer points as the hit you did; it's basically Guthans for prayer. It drains your full special, but it's worth it for it's prayer restoring properties. Another reason why you should finish Death to the Dorgeshuun!

Melee doesn't affect Aviansie. Only ranged and magic can damage it.

Theres also level 93 (or 94...not sure) and level 97 aviansie in the Eyrie. Besides which, theres a heck of alotta more aviansie in there :P

If you can access the eyrie I highly recommend it (Pendant of Armadyl REQUIRED if you dont want to die in three seconds from spiritual mages/rangers/warriors/reg aviansie inside the eyrie :| ).

9.8/10 ::'

It is true melee doesnt affect them, but who said that it has to be aviansie?

Last time I checked there were plenty of other monsters littered around the GWD. Take bloodvelds for example: If you have enough slayer to wipe em out, you can ancient mace spec em, lure em to a safe spot and snipe em to death with your c'bow. Instant p points and loot \'

So politely asking you to hop to another world because we were on a slow spawning world is crying? I kept trying to explain to you that it's faster for everyone if you attack several at a time and stay under constant attack, but evidently you just couldn't grasp that concept. So you would go out of your way to attack some of the ones that I had attacked to get them on me and you were crying because I hadn't finished them off. It's such a pain dealing with noobs who are just out to annoy people who are trying to train efficiently.

Actually, you said, "Get off my world, noob." Dude, seriously, there are tons of Aviansies for everyone! How can you be so selfish? I understood that concept, but you kept on killing MY AVIANSIES! You continued to half-kill all yours, and after you did, you attacked another, and then another and so on. You had like 5+ that were half-killed attacking you! You should finish your kills....albeit it's not as efficient as having many attack you at once, finish them all off when you lowered all their hp to OHKO status, but dude, I was there. When I'm alone, that's fine for training, but when someone else comes along, have the courtesy to finish your kills! Oh yeah I was crying? You were the one who 1)started the half-killing, so I copied, and 2) you began to whine about it to me! Liberally using "noob" is "nooby" in in of itself. Just because you're a higher level than me gives you no more right to play this game anywhere. You have to be more selfless...especially with your, "Get off my world, noob" talk.

EDIT: You know what bro, I'm sorry if I offended you or made you mad. I should have just swallowed my pride and just switched worlds; in that way I could have avoided all this. I knew better, but I just didn't want you to be all like, "yeah, you better get outta my world, n00b." I didn't want you to have the satisfaction of making me switch worlds. I let my pride get in the way of avoiding conflict. Sorry, once again.

Um...dude? Maybe he took alot of ppots, and if you havent noticed the Zamorak Book (5+ Prayer bonus), the Monks robe (6? Not sure how much prayer bonus), the holy symbol (8+ prayer bonus), and the mitre (no idea how much pray bonus), all that combined with his prayer and range levels actually can affect how long you stay there, how fast you kill the aviansie, etc.

Theres also absolutely nothing wrong with attacking low-hpers, they arent going to drop anything if another monster kills em, duh. I mean, how much random junk you see around the dungeon from monsters that already died before you came? Attacking low-hpers is just a tactic to kill more, quicker.

And Garados, it's really all up to you if you want to leave right after getting a clue scroll or not. I would stay personally, use up the rest of my ppots and get the maximum amount of loot and xp possible \'
