DragonFirenze Posted October 16, 2007 Share Posted October 16, 2007 Has anyone else noticed that the only time you get a clue or visage off a Black, Iron or Steel dragon is when you get Adamant Darts (P) or Rune Darts (P)? I can only seem to get clues when i get this drop, and by looking at other peoples logs it seems to be the same. Whats going on? Could this transfer to other monsters as well? Proof: This is Ugyucks Steel dragon log 38.rune darts(p) and a CLUE SCROLL 59.12 rune darts(p) and a CLUE SCROLL!!!!!!!!!!!! 139.12 rune darts(p) and a CLUE SCROLL(black d hide chaps,rune dagger,rune wc axe,rune fullhelm,MLB,MSB) This is Laili Nights Black dragon log 30 adamant darts and clue 16 adamant darts(p) & clue scroll This is Monkey4126's Black Dragon log 17-Addy darts (p)- Clue- Rune large,legs, d hide body, 12 lobs, 13 sharks 134-Addy darts (p)- Clue- Guthrix plate body, guth page 2, rune large, purple sweets, sharks and 2k gp 167-addy darts (p)- Clue- 14 purple sweets, 15 fire lighters, 3549 coins, and nature runes. wow.. 177-Addy darts (p)- Clue- 3k coins, 2 msb, rune long, purple sweets and fire lighters 216-Addy darts (p)- Clue - Rune large helm, white fire lighters, rune hatchet, 1.5k coin.. another bad clue 526-addy darts (p)- Clue! I could get some logs and post them here.. might do that now actually. Lvl 80 construction. If i find any that arent with Addy darts (p) ill post it. Lvl 80 construction. DarkDude Posted October 16, 2007 Share Posted October 16, 2007 This has been known for quite some time now, for example abyssals drop coins with their clue. Note that you can still get addy darts seperatly and that some monsters don't have a fixed drop for their clues (Mith Dragons for example) Visage is dropped with any other item, and so are monster heads so it's perfectly possible to get a dragon chain/kq head or abyssal whip/abyssal head in the same drop. Or even Dragon Large/Draconic visage drop together if you're REALLY lucky... Note to you not: I should have my internet fixed and RS-able sometime early november so hopefully around that time we can do more of you sitting there whlie I get attacked by a level 650 again. He maged steel dragons long enough to obtain a visage and 15 other dragon drops, and he claims EVERY clue he got was with darts. He solved them immediately after obtaining them... Been there millions of times, this works 100%. Not sure about Rex though, don't mage much, but I'm sure it's one item that gives the clue, like the other two.
