October 16, 200718 yr Has anyone else noticed that the only time you get a clue or visage off a Black, Iron or Steel dragon is when you get Adamant Darts (P) or Rune Darts (P)? I can only seem to get clues when i get this drop, and by looking at other peoples logs it seems to be the same. Whats going on? Could this transfer to other monsters as well? October 16, 200718 yr Maybe there are special drop pairs. Like whenever you get 2/3 drops from a druid, it's always 2/3 herbs. You never get 2/3 vials. October 16, 200718 yr This has been known for quite some time now, for example abyssals drop coins with their clue. Note that you can still get addy darts seperatly and that some monsters don't have a fixed drop for their clues (Mith Dragons for example) Visage is dropped with any other item, and so are monster heads so it's perfectly possible to get a dragon chain/kq head or abyssal whip/abyssal head in the same drop. Or even Dragon Large/Draconic visage drop together if you're REALLY lucky... Note to you not: I should have my internet fixed and RS-able sometime early november so hopefully around that time we can do more of you sitting there whlie I get attacked by a level 650 again.

October 17, 200718 yr Wow that was my friend's claim as well. He maged steel dragons long enough to obtain a visage and 15 other dragon drops, and he claims EVERY clue he got was with darts. October 17, 200718 yr that is really weird. wouldn't be that hard for jagex to just program the clue scroll drop to be independant, or a seperate drop all together.
October 17, 200718 yr At DK you only get clues from Prime with Air Battlestaves, and from Supreme with iron arrows. Been there millions of times, this works 100%. Not sure about Rex though, don't mage much, but I'm sure it's one item that gives the clue, like the other two.

October 17, 200718 yr Ye,the clue thing is not new.i remember there was a complete list in the Treasure Trial/Randoms forum (RIP) of what each monster drops with the clue. Wonder if it applies to visage also :-k i guess not many will remember what drop they had when they got visage :wink:

October 18, 200718 yr I'm pretty much a full time dragon slayer, and I can attest to this. Black dragons will only drop clue scrolls with addy darts, and steels only with rune darts.
