rushrock
Visit the London Eye, it's pretty amazing (and it used to be my desktop background). I guess that's it. I don't know much about the UK. Bring back some pictures!
Bubsa
Please, please dont make the assumption about Mancunians based on United fans, there generally as you described. Lol. We city fans are (usually) a lot nicer :)# Woah, they have Man U fans in Manchester now? :P I do like the City side. After all, you had God (Robbie Fowler) for awhile, and he duly repaid by always scoring against the scum. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you. Satenza
It's like, you know how people all have good qualities and then bad qualities? Well, Mancs have the bad qualities of everyone you meet, and are so overawed by arrogance, petulance and a decent grasp of the language we speak, they have none of the good. Im from around Manchester and I am currently living in the center. Your words hurt. :notalk: With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

The inflammatory, hurtful and intolerant bilge written above only goes to highlight that bad people can come from anywhere, and you should never be influenced by the prejudice of the ignorant few. Manchester is a great city with a wide and varied culture and Mancunians are some of the most friendliest people you ever meet. Please don't let this individual put you off! These are tools that have been used by writers throughout history to improve spelling, definition and vocabulary. Having said that, and leading from your uneducated insinuation, anything that can be used to enhance the writing skills of an individual should not be frowned upon, but embraced with open arms. bsmovies
i go london like every week seeing my family. its worth going, its an amazing place, lots of culture. some advice though (seriously): - in tube stations and the tube, dont take your phone or wallet out - in the tube stations and tube, dont not look at people, but dont stare at them, theres alot of theives and muggers on the tubes. - london may seem nice, but it has bad aswell, so be aware at all times. e.g, the area i have a house in 3 shops were recently held at gunpoint, then later that night were burnt down. then the day after, all the killing of prostitues started. - visit olympia, its a rough route to get their (you have to go through earls court line :\). but it has some amazing buildings, and the most expensive advertising area in the country (londons time sqaure :D)
welephant
If you're desperate for things too do, then you could come to Leicester. We've got a pretty good collection of museums and stuff if that's your bag. And we have the "International Space Center" that is just awful. There's probably a full day of entertainment here though, if you don't mind alot of ridiculously awful people.
