Herrods is overpriced

I'm guessing by that you mean "harrods" right?

And of course it's overpriced, it doesn't hold the title of being one of the most expensive department stores in the UK for nothing now does it?

Ah yes...I fail. I was just making the point....my family didn't realize how expensive it was until we actually went....and left feeling quite stupid. A friendly warning -.-

Well London sounds awesome, thanks for all the tips, but I could always use more :)

I live in England, in Milton Keynes :)

If your near there, feel free to visit! Loads of shops and so much to do! You must visit the Xscape. Cinema, Indoor Snowboarding/Ski arena, Virtual Sky Diving Simulator, many places to eat and there is always a nice event inside too. Oh! Don't forget the Arcade and the Bowling alley! Visit Willen Lake as well! Cable Waterski and other Water sports.

CMK is the ultimate place to shop, from HMV to Games workshop, there is always a store around the corner.

Advice: Stay far far away from Manchester and if you do go to Manchester, make sure you watch your car! Could be there one second, the next second, a Window is smashed. Just stay away.

London is also a great place to go, there is a Huge Shop there! With Tons and tons of stuff! If your in London and going on the Tubes, make sure you get a map of the tubes before you get on  It is quite possibly the most confusing place ever. Also, you'll notice that the tubes is very busy, this is normal and getting on the train is a fight for survival. Don't drive into London, bad traffic, take the Bus or the Tubes to get around. Take a trip on the London Eye, you can see MI6 from the top!

I cant emphasize how awesome the sky diving is. Its so brilliant, i could brag all day about it. Its just a shame i suck at it.

London is the best, Camden in london is better, try the stables marketplace there :D. Machester is pretty awful.

Go to Pleasure Beach, the place rocks, if you go to Liverpool make sure to hit the cavern club. Edinburgh is a great city lots of history go there to. If you want to see some 10,000 pound golf carts hit Harrods

Hmm, I live in the South East, Norfolk, which I think is a bit too far away, but it is a fairly nice place. Lots of farms, but a nice place.

However, London is a great place to visit. The Lake District and the Peak District are also beautiful places as well. Hope you enjoy your stay!

I have so many fond memories of Norfolk. I lived there for the first 8 years of my life, and its great. Yes loads and loads and loads of farms, but I love that. I'd prefer to live in a small village than an inner city.

If you're going Camden just be aware you are pretty much surrounded by freaky gothic gender confused individuals. Awesome market for cheap stuff nonetheless, or covent garden or portobello road.

If you're going central London check the Science or Natural History Museum, actually British Museum's pretty cool too. Free entry and the such. Just buy food before you go in, the prices are TEEEEEEF. ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã2 for a bottle of water, are you mad.

Driving there is a bit of a nightmare only because of parking, also congestion charge.

Get the tube to get about, best getting a travelcard seeing as you wouldn't stay there long enough to make an oyster card worthwhile. If you're getting a travelcard get it after 9:30am - off-peak. Black cabs are flippin expensive, don't bother with them. If you can stay away from the tubes from 5-6pm, rush hour, unless you like being pushed next to strangers with reeeally bad BO, and not being able to move away.

Basically only go central London if you're rich. Also, avoid Brixton, Lewisham, Peckham, Hackney, Tottenham, Wood Green if you have any sense. Ends is no tourist attraction.

Bring enough food to last you the whole trip

i hope thats not a hint that the food isn't good

What do you mean? Our food isn't good. If Jamie Oliver can be celebrated as a saviour chef, it just goes to show how bad it is.

You can find a few classics in there, though. I managed to piece together a Y.M.C.A Cowboy costume for about ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã10

You lived in Norfolk? \' I am not alone!

Norfolk does have it's merits, and the Norfolk Broads are a wonderful place to visit too. I personally live in Norwich, which is worthy of praise in the history department, with the Cathedral, the Castle, and many other historical buildings, but I have to agree, the outer villages are much better.

Why do you have a Y.M.C.A cowboy outfit, Bubsa?

If I were American, and I came to the UK for 1 month, I would:

- Shop in London for a weekend, I find a day is too short.

- Watch an International Rugby game in the Millenium stadium.

- Get a girlfriend, here... Just to take her home and say you've got a European Girl.

- Eat alot of British foods, in British restaurants. Yes, stay away from McDonalds.

- Visit Wales, just to say you've been there. (There's not alot to do here, to be honest. Apart from lots of Rock/Emo/Screamo/Indie gigs)

I can't think of alot more, to be honest. I'm a person who dislikes tourist attractions, mind.

Hope I helped a little.

Just skip England. Go north to Scotland... We're much friendlier than the English (apart from Glasgwegians), we have better tasting food (who doesn't like sheep guts boiled in its own stomach? :D) and mostly... Our scenery and historical buildings are awesome.

If you HAVE to go to England... Pop over to a place called Whitby, it's lovely and has some real good food and pubs. Also a day trip in York is good too. I hated London... Then again, I'm not one for big cities and I was a lot younger at the time. Uhhh... The lake district is also quite nice, no where near as pretty as our highlands though.

It's like, you know how people all have good qualities and then bad qualities? Well, Mancs have the bad qualities of everyone you meet, and are so overawed by arrogance, petulance and a decent grasp of the language we speak, they have none of the good.

Don't worry Bubs, the feeling is mutual :P Joke. I actually quite respect Scousers, its the Cockneys I hate

Please, please dont make the assumption about Mancunians based on United fans, there generally as you described. Lol. We city fans are (usually) a lot nicer :)#

EDIT: Just realised I didnt actually tell you where to visit in Manchester :wall:

Make sure you visit the City of Manchester Stadium (where the real Mancunians go, Old Trafford is full of southerners) where Manchester City play :D

Also visit the Lowry Centre and the Imperial War Museum both on Salford Quays there good for a day out.

Or if your not the Arty type go to the Museum of Science and Industry If your into planes and astronomy etc.

Yeh go to old trafford. In response to Bubsa: Kendal mint cake is horrible, I had some over half term it tasted like dried toothpaste.

CANE

Just to be different.

Think about it. A freaking Dragon Cane with a Dragonstone gem.

The spec will simply your character equiping a glove and beachslapping the enemy, who will break down and do the Cry emote for 10 seconds straight.
