November 6, 200718 yr I noticed 2 unfair advantages of this system: 1: Bones to peaches- you need more than just 60 mage to use this spell, you also need to complete the mage training arena MINIGAME (they said minigames are excluded from the update), which takes HOURS and costs a lot of money in runes. Not to mention, peaches are UNTRADEABLE. 2: Farming higher level herbs- I can actually see macros abusing farming now. Before the update, if you had herb seeds but not the level to use them, you could sell them, but almost no one would actually grow it for you. Now you can grow it yourself, and any high level farmer will gladly accept the planting exp for it. Proud owner of a Quest cape!
November 6, 200718 yr I don't like this update rather much as I don't like the new skill icons. And I don't really care about the skill-assist thing. My skills are so high that I don't feel like I need any assistance, but they'r not that high that other players need them.

So there's really no point in getting assistance for it.

November 7, 200718 yr An update, which meteorically speaking, hits two birds with one stone. A brilliant update to skillers, and at the same time a great attack against scammers.
November 7, 200718 yr At first i thought this update was gonna be great, but then i figured out that you have to be within twenty spaces of the person, and i dont think you can do anything while your assisting them. No Double Xp :( I was all excited at the prospect of mining rune :P I engineered this thread with precise variables that I know would cause lul-worthy flames.
November 7, 200718 yr I think this is quite a good update, no one is being forced to use it as you can turn it off, however it can prove quite useful. Myself and a friend tried it out the other day and it works well once you have got the hang of it. I can't see it being something that i use regually, but if nothing else it reduces the possibility of scammers and their evil ways...
