Just as someone said ... all that work for a level 99 in a non combat skill is gone.

Lets see, besides being able to smith anything (which they could of before with a helpfull friend). Low levels can now mine rune by themselves and cut magic trees, something they really coulden't do before. Now low levels are probably not going to train there skills higher and will simply rely on higher levels to help them with everything. I think this will just make people beg on higher levels even more.

In order to do this, they have to find a high level to come with them and stand there while they mine or cut. How is that any different than the same high level mining or cutting and then giving them the ore or logs?

 

 

 

In fact, it's worse because it ties up two people instead of one.

Nonsense. People train levels for the satisfaction, and for independence. This is going to change nothing in that regard.

I'm against the thing that you can use assist system to get to a guild. Now there will be tons of low level players in fishing, mining or other guilde. It shouldn't be allowed to access a guilde using the assist system, bacause others worked hard to get access to the guildes and others will use it because of friends. Anyone thinks same?

Who in their right mind is going to assist with a skill like mining? So you have a noob friend with like 50 mining...then you assist him so he gets your mining level...but you still have to stand there the whole time...why not just mine the ores yourself and give them to him? That really makes no sense.

 

 

 

I think this update will seldom be used for anything except crafting. I also think there should be an option that lets you trade something in return for the assistance. But then, the whole system would have to be changed since the assister can just close the window :-s

 

 

 

Maybe it should just be for one use of the skill? Like...you offer 10k to get assissted so that you can craft a fury. Then both players accept. Then as soon as you craft the fury, the 10k goes to the other person and you stop having assisstance.

They should make it so you don't have to stand there and you can just leave. Kind of pointless if your friends are gonna be cooking all day, etc., and you only get 30k xp. -.-
