November 8, 200718 yr I have some bad nausea today, and I thought this would make an interesting thread. Do you guys have any good tips for getting rid of annoying nausea? Thanks.
November 8, 200718 yr Gingerale or one of those pulse-watches may help. Drinking lots of water does it for me. Still alive, still alive.
November 8, 200718 yr Prevention is better than cure. I'd suggest an antihistamine if it's a reaction to an allergy. Take plenty of water, good night's sleep etc., just generally look after yourself. If it's long-term seek a doctor, but also check your lifestyle. You feeling anxious/angry about something? Is there something physically unhealthy about your lifestyle? Most often than not, the reasoning pretty simple... | Favourite Game Music | Last.fm | HYT Friend Chat Rules |

This nausea is pretty short-term, but I don't have any allergies, I'm not really unhealthy, and apart from some depressing thoughts about a girl I like, my emotional state is fair.
November 8, 200718 yr depressing thoughts about a girl I like Therein may lie your problem then. Like I said, if it persists, see a doctor. | Favourite Game Music | Last.fm | HYT Friend Chat Rules |
November 8, 200718 yr Author ^ I don't think it's quite that serious. I just starting thinking about it a couple of days ago. I'm looking for simple remedies to cure common nausea. I don't have chronic nausea or anything like that, nor am I depressed. I don't think I'm that screwed up.
November 8, 200718 yr Where in anyones head does it seem like a good idea to make a thread about Nausea?
November 8, 200718 yr Author Where in anyones head does it seem like a good idea to make a thread about Nausea? What do you do when you feel sick to your stomach? :D
November 8, 200718 yr Author ^ :-s I stared at it for nearly a minute and I still can't figure it out...:|
November 8, 200718 yr Lick a slice of lemon. That might help. This signature is intentionally left blank.
November 8, 200718 yr Author Be a man, projectile vomit furiously and get it out of your system. How am I to do that? I don't feel the need to vomit, I just feel sick...
November 8, 200718 yr Don't read it. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.
November 8, 200718 yr Suck it up and keep going. Well, thats what i do. I generally refuse medication of the small, unnecessary variety (Tylenol, Benadryl, Vitamin supplements, motion sickness pills, etc) so I just kinda put up with it. try that, I mean it's not like you'll feel like that forever, just don;t make any sudden, sharp movements. November 8, 200718 yr Uhh. I use to get nausia everyday it was very bad one, every other day for a couple of months I suffered from nausia. The first couple repeats l went to the medical centre. They didn't do too much except give me a bowl, sit me down and leave me there for hours on end. I just got board going and dealt with it. After a while I got use to it, but I don't get nausia often anymore. Some tips I find useful: Try and keep yourself cold, strange but it's my best. Talk to a funny and interesting friend, time flies.
November 9, 200718 yr peptol bismol, much? Hey! Pepto Bismol! <- And when that isn't enough, there's always: Pepto Bismol ice cream! EDIT: A useful thought I had, laying on a cold floor(normally the bathroom floor) always seems to work amazingly for me.
November 9, 200718 yr Meh, I get nauseous quite often, usually caused by stress. Just lie down in a dark room for a good half hour and you'll be golden \
November 9, 200718 yr Get on your hands and knees on a soft spot like on top of your bed. Put your head down on your arms with your arse up in the air and breathe in deeply and slowly, it works. Another one that works for me is sitting on the bottom of the shower with the water at a nice temperature. The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours.
November 9, 200718 yr tums. take your index finger and thumb. firmly press on both side of your wrist. think thats only for motion sickness but hey cant hurt to try eh? if its really. really. really. terrible you can put baking soda in a glass of water and drink it really fast (it tastes terrible) but it should almost instantly work. have a few crackers. ginger ale. take a walk. if your eating something dont eat it. :-X and what the guy above me said :P Wow, watching this thread is better than pro wrestling! =D>This thread is probably better than pro wrestling because the fights here are real (And the boobs).
November 9, 200718 yr I find that chewing mint gum helps. It just does, whenever I'm carsick it does the trick. Heck, give it a try 8-) Ultra Unholy,Hearted Machine...
November 10, 200718 yr Sleep or sit there and try not to think at all. That works for me. (I learned how to do the later at a black belt seminar a couple years back and it feels good on a regular basis... it's like sleeping but still awake... and yes I'm a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.)
