Release dates countdown timer and info here^

So has anyone pre ordered it? Think it will be better then super mario sunshine which I hear it getting compared to a lot? Don't care about the game and can't wait to get your pre order coin thing? Want to run down to your local game store and demand they give it to you now or you'll get really mad? Discuss!

Edit: I'm pretty sure it ships today and is released tommorow, but i'm not 100%.

I played the full version copy that walmart had the other day. It was interesting to say the least.

I plan on buying it at some point, but it's not the top of my list. It's about as standard as any other mario game that's come out recently.

I hope it's not just some "play for a week, beat it then get bored and never play again" game like some where. If it's anything like sunshine was then i'm happy. Oh so happy.

Oh yeah, I enjoyed sunshine, and I'm sure I'm going to enjoy galaxy as well, but I do think it will be a "play a week, beat it and shelf it" game, excluding the completing it perfectly part. It doesn't seem to have a lot of replayability.

The gravity rules are fun. I don't know what it's called in game, but I was using the vortex stars to slingshot me to random places. Lots of fun :P

The sad thing is that most games are like that nowadays, the only way you can add to a games lifespan is through online which you can't really put in platformers and some games. I still think Galaxy looks awesome though, it could well be one of those, I wanna complete it 20 times, kind of games like Resident Evil 4.

tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :(
But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities.
That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. Those PETA bastards will never see it coming until the porcupines are half way up their asses.

Apparently a lot of people say it. I own.

Meh, I bought Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn yesterday, so if I get this any time soon it'll be for my brother's birthday on Thursday. Looks awesome though.

Off-topic: FE is the hardest frikkin game I've played in a long time. Including the other 3 FE games.

I love it.

Several videos here: http://www.gamekult.com/tout/jeux/fiche ... video.html

According to the reviews, it's an excellent game, but has two weaknesses: camera angles, and a short life span. 10 hours to complete the storyline, and around 20 hours to collect absolutely everything and finish the game. That's a bummer. But you can start it over every once in a while.

On Tuesday toys r us is having a special where you buy the game before 5pm you get a $25 gift certificate. Not a bad deal. I'm definitely going to get this game though, it's got amazing reviews. A no brainer must buy.

I got it today and was playing it for the past 5 hours and all I can say is that I like Mario on pure ground the best. It's still a good game but i'm used to 64/sunshine still. The feeling of gravity is weird to me. I'll just have to play a bit more :P.

So far, so amazing. I won't go as far as to say that I like it better than 64 yet, but definitely better than Sunshine (though I really liked Sunshine too). It does seem to be a bit of an un-natural feeling, having to run around a small planet, and having the camera everywhere as you're doing it, but there's no doubt it adds to the great gameplay. Overall verdict so far: 9/10.
