Great guide! :thumbsup: I've tried this before, but either you're really lucky or I'm really UNlucky. It takes me around 10 minutes to get a clue, 15 to do it, and my best reward was a black platebody. (And I've done over 30 clues...)

at 65 thieving, I feel like I fail a lot, and i don't remember getting clues that fast. I love level 3 clues, but even though I can make better/more cash at green dragons/avianses, I'm gonna do some level 1 clue scrolls. Good Guide BTW :thumbsup:

You'd be surprised. I've gotten clues on the first pickpocket, but also had times when it's taken me 10 minutes (not often though). Let me know how your clues turn out! :)

Granzi, you were right. After ages, I just got a lv.1 clue scroll from Loar Shade burning - and it gave me 29 black bolts and flared trousers! Thank you!

I used this method today for about an hour and made 600k. Best of my rewards were Zammy Page 1, Sara Page 3, Willow comp bow, and black heraldic sheild. I really enjoy this method because its a lot more interesting than mining pure essence, and a lot less time consuming. This will be great for the school year when I only have about an hour to devote to Runescape a day, just to build up my cash resources.

I find that just killing men in edgeville is the fastest way for clues. Did about 7 the other day in a little over an hour. Only decent rewards were a black platebody(g) and a sara page 3...

My 2 Hours of clue scrolling. and i average about 120k-150k per hour at what i do

 

Nice! The black armor is actually worth a bit due to people hunting tormented wraiths.

Changed the color of the sections titles to green since yellow was difficult to read. Updated some grammar and formatting as well. I miss the old forums. >_>

Added another dozen or so clues to the clue log.

Also added a new log for Hunteravenge, with 6 clues so far. :)

Just a small thing, you don't have to have started the lost tribe quest to get access to the H.A.M Cave.

I went back over the quest walkthrough and dungeon maps, and it does appear that you don't need to start it to access the dungeon. :) Thanks for pointing that out.

 

Also changed the recommended level 30 Combat to HP under Requirements as a point of clarification.

Added more clue rewards.

The small scarabs from the Missing my Mummy pyramid have an ENORMOUS level 1 clue drop rate, so they are a viable option for people with decent combat skills.
