Obviously part of the new update, but I wonder where it does lead.

 

perhaps something to do with the promised summoning update, a new quest, or an expansion of the grand exchange?

I saw Danq mention it earlier, what on earth will it be!?!!

 

 

 

I'm guessing it will just be a mystery forever until JaGex runs out of ideas and decides to make use of it :P.

It's probably a door to the basement of the Grand Exchange where you can do other tradingstuff

I would guess that it could be part of the cave network as seen in that quest with the portal to the chaos alter (forgot the name) so possibly more portals?

Awesome! Maybe a hidden entrance for the little dwarf workers :P

 

 

 

I think that it may be used later on if they make an interactive ge which I've heard rumours about...

Yeh, has anybody tried using items on it, or going in the cave networks below? (varock sewers, edgeville dungeon, chaos tunnel)

Most likly it is for a new quest to be put out.

 

Or mabye it leads to a Grand Exchange Black Market where all the mods trade for low prices! :shock:

it may be for an upcoming/future quest...like the knocking on the banks door lol but i bet it will be used for something someday

Jagex wants to make POS (Player Owned Stores). They Don't have the technology yet, but when they do... This trapdoor is near the Grand Exchange correct?
