this is nothing new, its been around for years.

Gathering ashes for serum 207's is really annoying and long. Buying them at 5 gp or 7gp each would be awsome. You get tons of tarromins from MTK and being able to buy ashes easily really helps. You normally cant find any ashes. It wouldnt surpize me if ashes went up to 50-100 gp each eventually on GE.

Yea, I used a few K ashes about a year ago because I had a ton of tarromins. Everyone got all confused when I was chasing Firemakers around picking up there ashes lol.

Well what would you have done in our situation? You can't tease a large group of people and not expect a negative response. Btw, I think it was buying silver ores from the silver seller in ardy before they nerfed him.

OT: Some people are saying that ashes will be used in summoning imps.

Proud owner of a Quest cape!

Maybe ashes will be a future merchanting item? I will for sure try it out anyway when you can sell them for over 5 gp each...

It's not the first time someone has come up with an "official" statement to try and bump prices of an item.
