November 29, 200718 yr For 700k, the Dragon Square Shield is definitely worth it. Sell your Obsidian Shield for 200k, and buy a nice new shiny Dragon Square Shield :D here!
November 29, 200718 yr D sq ftw. P2P offers more and better ways of making money than f2p. That's one of the cons you just have to play with if you don't feel like having 1 bigmac meal less per month.

November 30, 200718 yr It completely depends how well you want to balance atk/str bonus' vs def bonus. D sq gives nice def bonus that trumps the obby shield and is a nice look. Obby shield has a nice str and atk bonus and is cheaper. I have one of both, I use the D sq when i'm just walking around to show off, and against heavier creatures. I Keep at bank 2 obby shields - specially to keep my obby shield in same place when i get it and put it to bank then to keep 2 dragon sq i think is to expensive and second shield i just got from trading - some guy gived it like money, then decided to keep it.. 2. Dragon Sq shield price is highter what mean then keeping it you can loose more money if price drops... bigger risc to loose more... 3. Shield like obby i remember from Mortal Kombat movie, when Liu Kang killed some skeleton with familar shield ahd he for me is so cool shield, i imagine then he have blades on him margins, bad just then we can't use it like weapon too...:) and dragon Square more look like construction matherial to put on some wall because he like decoration, but obby looks like really offensive one ;) Edited: added image I Tried to find some picture how i imagine Obby shield, is like this: Just he look more cool and with much more and more offensive look blades :) Suggestion: You can use Anchor on Waterfiends - is cheap if to compare to GS & effective with crush attack & it hit like Whip.Visit my exp track
November 30, 200718 yr Rune Defender is better than both. Depends where. With high defence It's excelent to go with obby shield/ defender (depends on what type of monster. Lower defence like 60, the d sq is awesome but the obby shield also work.

Anyway obby shield is pretty good, its slightly better than granite shield (another choice and cheaper) and boost the same str bonus as rune defender.
