Zombie Plans-Revised

Recommended Posts

The plan -

Befriend your nearest and biggest navy's highest ranking person.

Use nuclear submarine for shelter when zombies arrive.

Live on fish.

Have spare parts.

Farm underwater and live on that too.

Destroy all zombies.

Repopulate the world.

(unrealistic but idc.)

The glass for the submarine should be reinforced, and the forces in water is greatly reduced....

Oh and I'm really new to the zombie concept, so please don't flame me.

Flaws in your plan;

- Soon as an outbreak is detected all navy personel will be called in (same with the army, airforce and all other forms of military.)

- Farming underwater? Very dificult, wold be easier to live on an island.

- How close are you to a gun shop? If so have you already started stockpiling ammo that is common among rifles/pistols. Plus the government will become suspicious if you do start stockpiling thousands of bullets.

As you read this thread more you should quickly grasp what the ideal plans will be for most situations. ::'

Also, glass for a submarine?

So you can look through the periscope, please tell me that's what he was referring to....

idk #-o but i think he might want to put some glass on the submarine so we could look out and see things from the submarine...

And for the submarine, if we don't have anyone experienced driving (marine person?) then we could go down too far and collapse from the pressure...

Oooh good answer.

Also, australia is good I guess.

1: West Virginia

2: Scotland

3: Africa

4: Australia

5: in a submarine

I think I'll still go with 4, we can drink 'n' dance the zombies into submission, or just get smashed whenever :XD:

Group of 500 or group of 5, which would better survive a zombie attack? It also means that we can better use our resources, eg I can't get much in the way of ammo/guns easily, yet I have access to trucks, food (chicken farm up the road) and 3 pharmacies and a hospital in the nearest town.

500 or 5 being better depends on who is in your group and where you are. Also neighbors and people around you would be just as good as random kids you know on an internet forum.

I agree with indie. I wouldn't travel 10000 miles to some fortress that may or may not exist to survive with some kids from an internet forum, in the middle of the [bleep]ing apocalypse. If you guys were to come to my area, sure why not, and my state's pretty kickass. It has low population density, good farming capabilities, above the snow line, and has ben and jerry's

I see that the majority of you are not taking this seriously. For all we know, the apocolypse could be in a week.

As for my immediate plan, I'll look up my pre-posted one.

Anyways, my plan depends on where I am at the time.

If I'm upstairs in my house, I grab the baseball bat beside my bed, destroy zombies in the immediate vicinity, then move all food and usefull stuff upstairs in my house and destroy the staircase then camp in the attic/roof.

*Note* If this does not come about until I have access to weapons, I will camp on the roof directly outside of my brother's room, and snipe them from there.

If downstairs: Proceed with plan A (above)

Plan B: If unable to proceed with plan A, due to various circumstances (zombie is between me and the staircase) grab the baseball bats that I keep besides all entrances to my home, destroy zombies, then proceed with plan A.

If at school: Run to the industrial-size paper cutter, pull off it's blade, then wield it like a sword, dealing with the immediate threat, then make my way to my home and proceed with plan A

If anywhere else: destroy the immediate threat, then make my way to one of the locations listed above.

*Note* In event of a large-scale uprising, my plans will most likely fail, but I should have noticed by then and proceeded with any of the above methods and fled the area.

P.S. It's kind of ironic that I don't play baseball.

*EDIT* I'm assuming I'm dealing with Max Brooks zombies, the stupid, slow kind.

Also, I feel like going all the way back to the 40 page count and re-posting a link to the zombie survival guide and WWZ.

Curses! Couldn't find them. They're somewhere in the 40-range for anyone who feels like trawling.

Sig by me, in MS paint, but I'm still working on it.

Suggestions appreciated

THIS IS NOW OUR TZDF THEME SONG.

And it can fly.

Has anyone thought of Hawaii?

It's not very largely populated, secluded, and there's plenty of food supplies.

That and it's friggin' Hawaii.

Hawaii is really densely populated, and the islands are fairly close together making seaborne zombies really likely. I know a few islands out there that are empty, but i doubt they could support agriculture. One good thing is the water is crystal clear, so you could see the zombies. Hawaii has a lot of people though, and if the infection spread there, it would be hard to contain. There are also a lot of poisonous spiders/EVIL CENTIPEDES in hawaii. I got bit by one of the centipedes there. Grr.

I grew up dead center of West Virginia, so I both know the area and am used to this sort of terrain. I can tell you right now that there's very low population density here, and more than enough wildlife to sustain a group if they have experienced hunters (I'm in West Virginia, deer capitol of the United States. Damn near everyone has some experience with hunting and/or firearms, and over half are good at it) and don't do anything stupid. Thanks to the proximity of some developed areas (east Virginia, D.C., NYC if we want a long trip) and abundance of ATVs and other offroad vehicles (Again, deer capitol of America), it shouldn't be too difficult to set up a wide territory if needed. The terrain is also very easily defensible (caves, mountains, waterfalls, etc.). The only real problems would be raiders and rednecks, if everyone works together with people who know their [cabbage].

Also, Buckhannon (nearby my area) is a college town AND it's not very densely populated. If we need something, we shouldn't have problems getting it there. Might still be somewhat dangerous, though. A ton fewer jackasses by percentage than out in the wilderness, though, so the only big problems are raiders and zombies (because of the weapon density of West Virginia, should be lower than normal for a while).

So what about survivors? Say we're moving along and we come across, whether they find us or we find them, a small group of survivors- a family, say.Do we let them join us? Turn them away? Kill them and rob of everything they've got in order to ensure our own survival?
