Our goal is to find a convenient spot of low density near most of us.

 

 

 

Well on the East coast it would be 1 of these 3:

 

 

 

1- Virginia/West Virginia (ok for growing crops)

 

2- New York (New York too populated?)

 

3- Maine (too cold for growing crops?)

 

 

 

I'd say Virginia or Maine... whichever is closest to more TZDF

Well, Shirley, you said East Coast. Virginia is smack in the center of the East Coast. You said yourself you're close to DC. See also you're suggestion for Virginia, which, as you claim, is "good for growing crops". What's the matter, skeered of a little travel? Little hiking? Maybe we should all just meet up in your town so you don't have to make a real effort to leave. Have us a little campfire and make s'mores.

Maine is a lot further north than Virginia. By that simple virtue alone, Virginia is more accessible across the board; it would be easier for a man from North Carolina or Florida to reach Virginia than Maine. Even someone from North Dakota, unless they had a boat, could hike/drive to Virginia quicker than Maine. Which is my recommendation is Pocahontas, West Virginia, as supplied by Skull. Easier to get to for the majority of East Coast TZDF members and sparsely populated.

The community around the college is tiny; and its connected by highway to a lot of areas. Secondly, there are going to be a lot of supplies at a college campus. Free time+chemical storeroom+chemistry textbooks=lots of useful items.

- Soon as an outbreak is detected all navy personel will be called in (same with the army, airforce and all other forms of military.)

 

- Farming underwater? Very dificult, wold be easier to live on an island.

 

- How close are you to a gun shop? If so have you already started stockpiling ammo that is common among rifles/pistols. Plus the government will become suspicious if you do start stockpiling thousands of bullets.

Okay, I'd vote for cannibalism's college, it seems isolated, well supplied and spacious enough, from what I heard.

 

Earopeans will need to travel to america, but thats not a big deal in the long run.

 

 

 

Those already in america would need to stockpile weapons, ammo and food at the college (we will also need books and things to keep us entertained). To accomplish this, we could use those environmentally friendly cars (the really quiet ones) and load it up with everything you can.

 

We will also need buidling materials(Mortar, fencing, bricks, cement and all required tools) which can be carried using aforementioned cars or simply a truck (loud but can carry a lot, a good tradeoff in my eyes).

 

 

 

The college will then be fortified with higher walls and extra fences, as well as any building preperations made and farming patches prepared..

 

The wall should be roughly 15 feet high, in case of massive zombie pileup.

 

 

 

We will then send out scout partys to gather 20-30 more survivors to maintain defenses.

 

 

 

Then we turn off all radio equipment and isolate ourselves from the outside world. allow nobody in or out of the fortress.

 

 

 

 

 

Then, we simply survive.

If we simply want to survive, I'd say Australia, a large island with like no people. Kangaroos breed like rabbits and make good meat (haven't had the opportunity to try any personally.) Plus my dad currently owns 3 fully working trucks and a ute, which are great for transporting stuff. Infact where I live it is pretty isolated, there is no walking around here, it's vehicle or nothing.
