I was with Picori doing firecape, it was me him and Dracoman on ventrilo. I lucked out vs a 360 around wave 53, then listened to Picori continue on his adventure to take down Jad ("Yad" as draco the dutch guy from our clan calls him.) Waiting to hear if Picori finished of Jad was intense. This is how the conversation went. RT-Ok we will be quite dude so you can hear if Jad does mage attacks. Picori-Yep RT-Let us know when you get the healers. Picori-Ok RT+Draco-Goodluck Was about a minute into the fight and Picori said he stuffed up prayers, luckily he hit a 0 and 14. Few more minutes passed and he let us know he had the healers on him. Towards the end he let us know how close he was.. Picori-OMG!! I think hes dead!! RT-Really? Picori-Yes!Yes! RT+Draco-Yea good wo.....(Picori interupts) OMG!!!!I DID IT YES!!!! Draco-(In hi dutch accent)I am very happy for u on getting your fire cape, but I would't mind using my ears for the next few years. Then we celebrated in Tzhar bank. Now onto tonight. Picori just got a jungle horror task , he was about 8k away from getting 83 slayer. He decided to burthorpe the task and he got cave crawlers. Im slaying away at abberant spectres and we are just chatting. Picori-Oh dang im poisoned and I got no food Me-Log out there and I will come to you Picori-Nah its cool I have house telly tab. Me-Kk sweet as few minutes passed... Picori- Oh s**t I just died... Me-s**t!! I come to you know. I start to use my free home telly to Lumbridge then he realises, we are on differant worlds. Picori-Omfg I have no light source and my cape is down there, I dont want to lose my cape. Me- Telly to draynor and buy a candle, dont forget your tinderbox. Picori-Tinderbox,tinderbox,tinderbox, I cant find it... Picori runs to candle seller, climbs down rope Picori-Crap, let go of my head, cmon cmon cmon! . .. ... .... ..... Picori- Its gone... demonreape2 Posted December 3, 2007 Share Posted December 3, 2007 Sorry to hear that dude, I remember when I lost my first one at barrows it was my first time veracing and i had 32 hp and was like oh I don't need food so I go into ahrim and I forgot to put on mage pray, then I get hit 15 I'm like omg I need to eat I start eating a shark but then he hits me for 17 and kills me ftl. hatebringer Posted December 3, 2007 Share Posted December 3, 2007 MAn, im sorry to hear that. Its really unfortunate. And usually fire cape doesn't protect over a ton of stuff. Fury and barrows gloves both protect over it, and mostly every barrows item, whips, and other also, not to mention its "game" value is only like 30k+ so alot of stuff protects over it. Once again, I really hope you can get some luck in the time being, and hopefully re-claim your cape. I got it on my 3rd attempt, and hopefully do not lose it every, although, you can never say never.
