Kalphite Queen as a slayer task

I just got kalphites as a slayer task, and my friend has the same task. We want to go do the queen at least as part of our tasks. What setup should we use?

 

 

 

I want to use a black mask, but I'm not sure if whip is effective. Please only post if you're sure.

 

 

 

I'm 124 and my partner is around 108.

Veracs, best for KQ

If you don't have veracs base it off at least whip/keris, mask, and barrows top&legs.

 

 

 

For second form geta crossbow, decent bolts and karil top

Okay, I really want to find a good way to use black mask and still be effective.

BGS, it really works well, or AGS if you have it.

I think the godsword method would be most effective, considering you cannot use verac's set effect with a black mask.

black mask + torags/guthans/dharoks (more def then veracs) with whip and defender, youll hit as much as you would with full veracs if you have a godsword use that as you would squish the little bug with it

Or if you are scared of the kq or cannot find a way to use the black mask efficently you could talk to a weaker master and take the easy way out, and come back to the kq in a larger group for the drops and experience.

Don't think he's scared of the KQ though, seeing that he's almost 126 CB =]. He just wants to take advantage of having a Kalphite task with his friend.

easily done me lvl 107 and my brother lvl 92 duo the queen all the time....here's our setup : :mrgreen: this is without task for him and with task for me

 

 

 

me lvl 107 : first form

 

 

 

head - blk mask = torso and legs - torag = feet -

 

climbing boots = weapon - scimmy or whip = other hand - zammy book

 

 

 

second form = same as above except use msb w/rune arrows or rune c-bow with diamond e bolts

 

 

 

mask helps hit second form with melee but you will see alot of 0's

 

 

 

better off just ranging second form

 

mask makes trips alot mre effecient..hitting 30's + consistently really kills her fast

I black mask kill it all the time. Just use full torags with whip and obby shield. Wear a god or skillcape.

The Godsword/Rune crossbow (Diamond (e) bolts) setup is EXTREMELY effective. I can't base it off of my own experience to be honest with you, but I know several people who have used it.

 

(They used a Bandos godsword, by the way. One of them used Armadyl, but didn't see much difference.)
