Not true, bone cross bow was whip speed speed, hunter is MSB speed and metal xbows are metal xbows speed (haven't check what melee weapon it's similar to :P ) Hunter --> Bone ---> Metal Is how it used to be. Bone cross bows made range levels way too cheap anyway, they deserved a nerf, 99 range was slowly becoming less impressive. If someone wanted speed and a one handed bow hunter bow was always the better choice anyway, especially after GE. It was a nerf that did the skill good overall. Actually, the hunter bow is actually better then what the bone is/was. It's always been fast and I found it quite noticeable. Additionally, the long bolts hit 15's for me, where bone bolts would be hitting 17's or so, I find the speed increase better and am quite sure hunter xbows are better experience then bone. I don't know about normal bolts, but I'm having heaven ranging Aviansies in GWD with long bolts :) But I have to agree that at times I have trouble noticing the speed difference of the old and new bone crossbow as well, I wasn't it's most avid user, I've always enjoyed MSB the most prior to hunter. But from what I've seen it's exp have dropped heavily. I think it's fair to say as far as exp/hr goes this is possible now: Hunter > Rune (with mith+) > Bone. Last I checked, normal kebbit bolts were abundant in GE so I don't see why it matters in any case.
