Well I'll keep us off with two bands I'm strtaing to like at the moment.. The first is the Beautiful Girls. The reason I like them is they've got a unique sound and some very good guitar riffs IMO. Secondly, Kisschasy. The main reason I like them is they often have good bass riffs, whcih a lot of bands don't seem to have. Finally, my least-favourite Genres. Techno and Emo. Techno I hate because it's just a keyboard and all computers, I like music with soul and meaning, not songs abotu nothing. And Emo, C'mon. Anyways, there's jungle, breakbeat, tencho, trance, house, ambient, and even if it was "just keyboards" it still takes skill to compose this stuff. Personally, it's my all-time favorite genre. Why? Unless your the type that hates to dance, never really understood people like that... :-k Anyway, as you can see I love House, and I'm also into Hardstyle, but thats not for everyone. Although I'm not a fan of trance. I like all kinds of rock, just not the [cabbage]ty kind. I'm into Hip-hop/rap/RnB, whatever you want to call it. My favourite type is the club style though.

Basing an entire genre on what you hear from MTV or on the radio isn't good and all you're doing is just limiting your choice in music.
January 2, 200818 yr My favourite genre is probably metal. Preferably less thrash centered and more progressive, groove or death. Then I'd have to say punk/hardcore. I love this punk/hardcore radio show on wednesday nights at 10 on a station here in Aus called triple J. Awesome stuff. It's like my easy listening haha. Rofl nice mis-conception of a whole genre there... =/ The screaming part is a genre known as Screamo, and I could go through my whole playlist (Which consists of some of the largest emo bands around now/used to be around) and I can give you about two songs which are about self harm... thanks for playing. Favourite Band: Coheed and Cambria - Just pure superb concept albums, amazing lyrics and plus he just has awesome hair. Least Favourite Band: Hmmm Panic At The Disco or Bring Me The Horizon, Panic because they are just pure irritating annoyance, and BMTH are just pure scene kid idol's and that ain't cool. Favourite Genre: From my rant up there it's Emo. Why? Because it has alot of songs which mean alot to me and lyrics that appeal to me. Least Favourite Genre: Hmmmm, I don't really have one... possinly anything concerning Garage/R'n'B music, but that is just because I don't tend to listen to any/alot of it.
