I'm stumped. I have spent the last 8 months cutting yews for 99 wc, and have achieved it. Now I have 41k yews collecting dust in my bank and debating whether or not I should sell them to buy 99 cooking and firemaking.

 

 

 

I like to keep my posessions especially something that has taken me a long time to get. Only positive reason I can find for selling them is that I will get 99 cook/fm and 11 or so Million back if I sold all of the cooked lobs.

I'd go after the 99 cooking/firemaking. Then you will have 3 lvl 99 skills instead of just one.

Yea there is really no reason to keep them all. I would say get the 2 99's. Keeping them there as a reminder of what you went through for 99 wc would be useless to say the least. If you want a constant reminder of 99 wc, you could sell them all and buy something rare maybe a santa or green mask if you have enough money.

Welt, why would you just let them sit in your bank, the only thing I'd thing you can do is use for fire making or sell, I would sell and so for 99 cooking and firemaking. Also with the 11M that you'd get would be good for fund another 99, or what ever you wanted to spend on. :wink:

Buy the 2 99's. IMO keeping the yews as a reminder is pointless as then you have around 18mil worth of logs just sitting in your bank lol. I would say buy the 99's but keep about 10k yews for if there is a situation where you badly need the money in the future.

The price for yews is quite high right now, and it's bound to drop once more people are cutting yews again.

go p2p for a month or so and fletch like nuts. Then sell all the yew longs.

use those yews for fletching, get 99 fletching then sell longs (you would make a real profit, since bs is only 170gp, longs are sold for 650gp, making a 300ish profit per long means that 1k of these are 3m ish profit) after getting 99 fletching, sell all longs and buy cooking and fm

Only problem is now Yew Longs are 700+ at minimum due to the GE's price floors.

 

 

 

You'll definitely make a profit still, but it'll be harder to find people to buy your longs.
