DegenerateX
Just popped into my head if Jagex was going to allow Pest Control to give you XP in Summoning since it includes all the other combat styles already. Would be funny if the first person to get 99 Summoning was a PC Product :XD: Looking for someone to teach me how to Armadyl farm - pm me10,200th Person to Achieve 99 Magic on 1/10/
BBC3
doubt it will. highly doubted. if its allowed then it would be allowed maybe 6 months after it comes out, with the xp HALF of what prayer gives. 4000000657th to 99 cookin555555406th to 99 flethcin
caldius
I think it will, but it will be similiar in the tears of guthix that you wont be able to benifit this way for some time.

DegenerateX
y? pc is easy without summoning partners by your side. thats unless youre in a boat full of idiot noobs. lol ~WSW~ I'm talking about how ridiculously easy it is train a skill with pest control points without ever having done the skill yourself. Example: People meleeing in pest control to train their magic with the points. Ravenkana
y? pc is easy without summoning partners by your side. thats unless youre in a boat full of idiot noobs. lol ~WSW~ I'm talking about how ridiculously easy it is train a skill with pest control points without ever having done the skill yourself. Example: People meleeing in pest control to train their magic with the points.Aye aye... And the worst part is, when you train combat any other way, a little voice in the back of your head is telling you you could get more out of Pest Control. If the CORPORAL beast is this hard, imagine how hard a GENERAL or COLONEL beast would be. a corporal is not even an admirable rank in armies that use that ranking system. Yeah, it is a pking minigame, so any arguments anybody makes will probably be biased. The best way this will end :Everybody just says,"I'm not arguing with you anymore, goodbye."The worst way this will end: I don't really know, psychological warfare? Worldwide thermonuclear war? Pie eating contest?

I consider that extra bit of slayer experience to be more valuable than that extra bit of combat experience. Anyways, I really hope that pest control can't train it. I would really like to see maxed combat to be more difficult than what it currently is.
Olbritishchap
Tbh pest control really isn't that good exp anymore. At least it isn't at relatively low levels(i tried at level 50, terrible xp). It might be better at higher levels, but i don't know, i never did it on my old account.
alphakoldes
I think it will be. But I think it'll be similar to prayer, where not a lot of people really use their PC points towards it. -Man, I really do love Runescape, and I'm sure if it was a real person I would of asked it to marry me by now. warshadow212
On-topic: Yeah, PC pts rewards don't do slayer, which is technically also part of combat, since you raise both as you do a slayer task.
DegenerateX
Err let's get back on topic. I'm not taking sides here but look at your own grammar before you accuse someone else of having bad grammar. Lemeja
I think it will give some xp rewards. If it gives xp to every other combat skill, why not summoning?
warshadow212
Slayer is related to combat, however, it does not get any credit in PC. If Summoning were to get it, Slayer has to get it too. ~WSW~
DegenerateX
I think it will give some xp rewards. If it gives xp to every other combat skill, why not summoning? That's exactly what I'm thinking. However will they put it in right when the skill is released or wait a few months before everything has settled down a bit. It occurred to me how awkward it would be if the first person to get to 99 summoning used Pest Control. EDIT: Slayer is not a direct combat stat. It does not affect your combat level so I don't treat it as one. alcoolj
I doubt it will be. Jagex have stated that they don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t want it to be a fast skill to raise, and that it will be expensive. PC would negate both of these.

You still get Atk/Str/Def/HP exp for it. You have to raise Combat when you raise Slayer. Not necessary to get 99 stats in all direct combat skills to get 99 Slayer (as seen in "Untrimmed Slayer Cape"). ~WSW~

danny_boy_94
An interesting thought indeed. Won't effect me either way though, since I hate pest control and refuse to do it. Soulthresher
Slayer is related to combat, however, it does not get any credit in PC. If Summoning were to get it, Slayer has to get it too. ~WSW~ Umm...no. You can train slayer without ever hitting a monster and it does not give anything to your combat level. Summoning will add to your combat just like Attack, Range, and Mage. If it is PCable, it will be just like Construction and Hunter when they came out, unable to gain experience via Tears for the first few weeks. Edit: That kid wasn't bashing you and I have no idea how you came across that false interpretation.

It is a combat skill, and PC is made to train combat, so why ever would they not? However, I think it's going to be the same exp rate as Prayer, because TB@JT have stated that they want the skill to be like Prayer to train, so it stands to reason that the rate would be the same across the board, rather than higher in PC. Being immature is a part of being mature.
Zierro
I doubt that you'll even be able to Summon in PC. Besides, all the other combat skills were out for years until PCing them became possible anyways.
