Of course you will be able to, Jagex said Summoning assist with almost every skill in some way or another.

 

I'm re-doing my entire house over the weekend so I'm ready for Summoning on Monday (I'm deleting my entire house and building only what I need).

Those have been there forever :) But yes as Jagex said they have been planning for it forever so I wouldn't doubt it's summoning stuff.

I'm not an avid quester nor have a read all the pages but what about those monkey/ape obelisk? :-k

At this point, I seriously don't care how crappy the skill is. I've been waiting since 2006 for a new skill. It's now 2008.

First it looks nothing like the official pictures of it Jagex gave us. And there obviously wont be just one in the whole world.. Would make the use of that skill very unconvenient.

 

 

 

It might look like it if they decide to release a small graphics update with summoning :-w

 

 

 

They likely would add more too... I'm just looking for a reason that those stones could be there, and the best bet looks summoning related.

There will be an abbys update if life runes comes out, by the way, what use does it have when the general idea is to use pouches to summon with?

you mean the Daeyalt ore? Never been to the mines there, so can't verify.

 

 

 

And btw, the fact that the fally rocks get mentioned in the (Runescape official site) pet guide seems like hard evidence that they're going to be used in summoning.

 

 

 

Fally rocks = Pet guide = 'pet' = Pet store = Summoning

i always wondered what those rocks were for, now we shall see if they'll finally have a use. :-k

Those rocks aren't summoning obelisks, if anything is, the rocks from the summoning concept art are. For one thing, they are only in that one place, out of the whole world. that just doesn't work. Would it work to only have one prayer altar in the whole world? No. And besides, do they look at all like something related to summoning? I also doubt that the obelisks will be released before the actual update..

 

 

 

The life rune symbol split in two represents the fact that the life rune will never be released. It is gone and dead forever.

In all fairness they already released the "seeds" of summoning with the eggs.

they said life runes were an idea but they dont want to use it anymore, they dont want it to be linked with magic so i bet you "charge" summoning points there not craft runes. because there are NO runes involved.
