Hasn't Jagex's CS had a huge history of being useless? I've never used it because I didn't want to get into the routine of the dreaded auto-reply.

 

 

 

Btw, Qeltar's example shows how badly connected the system is. A solution would be that mods could give permission to other players to send them a reply (which would be found in the mod's message centre) which consists of as many characters as the asking mod determines. CS is cut out, and the mods only hear from those who they want to hear.

You realize they said they're working for a fix for this, to probably tie GE/LS together?

 

 

 

All of us monster hunters just have to deal with it for the time being - either keep your own drops, or don't hunt until the changes come out - I don't see why you're even hassling them and then complaining about it, on a subject they have already addressed.

Man, I really do love Runescape, and I'm sure if it was a real person I would of asked it to marry me by now.

Well one one hand.... I respect that they don't just leave it hanging like some companies do, they tell you straight:

but on the other hand at the same time it is not acceptable, and I have been giving feedback to Jagex when i can as to simple ways to improve what they do in terms of organisation (which would not include getting more staff), they do seem to be taking an interest in the feedback, and so do believe that change will come in the future.

 

 

 

Opening level of customer support at Jagex to me does appear to be the weakest, as this from what i seem to have been noticing is where new staff start.... and as soon as they get any good they are promoted to a more specific group, obviously this brain drain on the CS of experienced members is where I feel the issue lies.... we shall see.

I'm from Canada so we follow the British spelling, but I seriously can't comprehend how America destroyed a beautiful language by switching up a few letters.

 

 

 

Colour -> Color

 

Personalised -> Personalized

 

 

 

Also, Wkw has a right to complain, as he pays for the game. I think it's a complete joke that Jagex can't even respond to their customers. (Over 8 times). Sometimes the solution isn't always: if you don't like it, quit. That's being completely unreasonable. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and if you don't like it, don't read.

But yet that gives you the right to post.....no dont think so wkw is right jagex has said theyere trying to upgrade there cs team for 2 years now so far i have not seen any impovment at all.

 

 

 

 

 

and just because you hate USA dose not mean you can "blame" them for everything USA never destryoed anything we have suited it to our needs.

*This isn't breaking the rule about revealing messages between Jagex and I, as there is no proof that those are the actual messages. But they are. Take my word for it. It is just an exert from the whole thing

same happened when i tried replying something to jagex i got some stupid post back about "did you check such and rather guid about this. check parental guides for soch and rather" i DONT want a parental guide i just wanted a message saying "yes we have recieved your message and will investigate" instead of some stupid auto-typer which replied 0% of what i asked.

Oh wait, I'm sure you'd love to spend $500 on a new computer so you could effectively check your e-mail and play Runescape at the same time without opening another browser/tab. :roll:

 

 

 

Why would they want to invest in something that brings in no more money, but only satisfies a select amount of individuals, but doesn't "anger" them without it. Doesn't affect game play. And technically still works. Please remember we are living in 08 now. :roll:

 

 

 

I'm sure they are over loaded with messages ATM, and being that you knew you couldn't trade them for "free"-or without Runescape "value"-and being the majority of people playing Runescape, that contact Jagex aren't doing so in respective way.(eg. Rant sent though a query)

i had a samelike problem

 

 

 

i asked jagex why i cant retrieve my bunny ears and scyth, cuz im 1000% sure i had em some time ago, and dropped them for bankspace.

 

the reply was very ignorant, they said sumat like "sorry, we are too busy to reply you, we suggest that you upgrade to membership so you are more likely to get your questions answered... "

so they actually want to make me become member in order to not getting helped once again like this topic suggests??

 

i agree when u say that they just cant be asked to answer all these technical questions, just becuz they dont know the answer, and just pretend to ignore it. :-k

Qelter, with all due respect, you forget that Jagex are not dealing with 'normal customers'. In the majority of cases they are in fact dealing with whiny, stupid children/adolescents. You cannot expect the same level of service when comparing the customer base of online companies such as Jagex and Amazon, for example.

 

 

 

I can see that the example you have shown is indeed ridiculous and frustrating for you, but I wonder if you would hazard a guess as to how many players put the title 'PLEASE READ THIS AND DO NOT SEND AN AUTO-REPLY' in their messages.

 

 

 

That's their own damn fault. They're the ones who made the game appeal to whiny, stupid children/adolescents. I guess CS is another thing Jagex shouldn't be worried about when it comes to that customer group. \'

 

 

 

I had been appealing my forum ban for over two years with dozens of messages to Jagex, with no personal response. They stopped sending me personal responses two and a half years ago, so it's not just that they have too many messages. They just don't give a DAMN about it!

So, no wonder they have to many messages if every fool keeps sending them about 7 if they replied in the 1st message they allready have to many. No offence, but this is the dumbest thing I've ever seen.

 

 

 

 

 

I agree that Jagex should hire more people to improve their CS though.
