It's like, even in SSBM with Peach (a high tier character), you could counter her with Young Link because YL is better than Peach in a 1-on-1 fight, even though YL is a bottom tier character. November 9, 200817 yr Author Announcement: I'm planning to start up another tournament in a couple weeks or so. The rules will be based on this http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=187735. The bracket will be seeded, based off of the last couple tournaments we've had. Only thing I don't quite understand is stage striking, someone please explain :D.

November 9, 200817 yr I say we just randomize it. More suspense that way. And I'll have a 1% chance of winning, instead of .01%. As for stages, shouldn't we just have a list that we can pick from? It's kind of hard impossible to counterpick stages online. Honestly, I don't care. I just want to play. And lose. November 9, 200817 yr I dont like high tiers :) I always hated lucario but now I think I'm starting to like him.. And yeah I was using ROB for a while but imo he fails cause i like hitting people from behind in the air. :cry: Might swap my ness for lucario And dont tell me to stop switching rly cause I have my main and secondary. Wanna find a 3rd.. I dont need a siggy no moar.
November 9, 200817 yr Author I have an idea for stages. Each person will ban one stage, and that stage can't be picked for that set. For counterpicking, only way you could do it is by letting the other player know which stage you want to play on, and they pick it too. As for the seeding, I'll figure it out once we get everyone signed up. But the main thing I want to avoid is having an unbalanced bracket.
November 9, 200817 yr I say we don't bother with CPing stages/characters, too hard on WiFi. But banning stage is used every day for tournies, so I see why not. Do NOT copy the Cp/legal stages straight from Smashboards, some are just really stupid. They work, but that's really in depth and has CP and calculations done.
