RayOxide
Kent, try reading the non-debating parts of a post, you idiot. And you can have custom stages. You just need both people to have the same stage exactly stored and have played on it. Apparently. And a league is just going to demean people other than kent? I dont need a siggy no moar. RayOxide
^Would love to. No wifi. Does anyone know if everyone or just some people in Brawl have a bigger "body" than they appear? I hit falcons knee of death on toon link and toon links foot was in-line with falcons shoulder. Or does falcons knee hit with his whole body? I dont need a siggy no moar. If you try playing Snake and use his Up Tilt, you'll see how "bigger body" he can really be. The Complete MTA Handbook | Runecrafting Pouch Analysis | Mobilizing Armies Locator Index
RayOxide
Hitbox was one of the questions I had. Being falcons knee of death has a huge non connecting hitbox? And the other part was, if I didnt even hit the KNEE on toon link, it was the shoulder-knee length, and it literally connected, (koed too) I dont need a siggy no moar. Inuashakent
Kent, try reading the non-debating parts of a post, you idiot. I did, and I thought you remembered that I posted before... If you don't like tournament style, there is nothing wrong with that. However, we're choosing TOURNAMENT RULES. I really hope you can comprehend that. If we're doing friendlies, we don't mind stupid stages (except me) but we're signing up for a tournament... A hitbox is basically a range of an attack. A ranged attack is called a disjointed hitbox. A attack that is stronger at a tip/inside/certain point is called a sweetspot. Who
I think the intention of a League was to play each other and we would be awarded points based on if we won or not. Then the word "League" triggered Pocket Monsters, and then that happened. I don't mind a league, but make it so that someone high skilled would get little points for beating someone of low skill, while if someone of low skilled beat someone of high skill, they would get a lot. Macmaster92
I like the idea of a league, but who's going to determine the skill of each player? Because that could open up a serious can of e-worms. :uhh: Maybe we should do a tournament to determine the skill of each player?
Caxis
I like the idea of a league, but who's going to determine the skill of each player? Because that could open up a serious can of e-worms. :uhh: Maybe we should do a tournament to determine the skill of each player? How about this. When the league starts, everyone who's in has a record of 0-0-0 (Wins-Loses-Draws), and we play games that would affect the record. The rules of these games would be similar to tournament rules, with banned stages, glitches, etc. Everyone in the league would have to play each member at least once. At the end of a league "season" a winner would be determined by however many games they won. We can also use this system as determining skill level and then incorporate a point based system. RayOxide
A league is just such a bad idea. It's going to have only like 7 people in it, probably less, AND, it's just unfair to the lower people. +If this tournament is to see whose the best then fine, be sooky and have a FD/BF tourny. But if its fun because we already KNOW who's the best ( ), just go ahead and put some fun into it jesus. I dont need a siggy no moar. Macmaster92
Ok.. Ray... If you don't play on Wifi (I think) and every single thing that is posted on here you disagree with, why do you stay here anyways? :-s I mean, no offense.. but I just don't want to have to read a debate after every single time you post. :wall: Edit: I'm going to take Gallade's job. RayOxide
You dont have to 'argue' back to it. And I hang cause the actual smash board forums have a really bad community in comparison to tif :) Plus.. not everything i disagree with. But about the league - There's .. like 5-8 people who WiFi here? Well it is fine but we all know that Mano and Kent are gonna be the top 2 for.. ever. I dont need a siggy no moar. Macmaster92
Well it is fine but we all know that Mano and Kent are gonna be the top 2 for.. ever. Not true. Last tournament (or two tournaments ago, I can't remember), I almost beat Mano. It was very close. Trust, me skill levels through out the Brawl Club have changed since then. :ugeek:
Inuashakent
I remembered when I 3 stocked... everybody... Now some of you guys can beat my Snake occasionally, and beat some of my other chars consistantly... Anyways, if we do do a league, why would be make it slanted? It's suppost to show who the best is, but when I come to think about it, I know it's Me, Mano, Crazy/Mac/Caxis, (Who'se the best here?) and the rest in the order I'm too lazy to spell out. A league is just such a bad idea. But if its fun because we already KNOW who's the best ( ), just go ahead and put some fun into it jesus. There is this one lastttt thing I would like to say. It's that, well... I enjoy serious matches more. Sorry, I had to say it. RayOxide
Ha ha? I dont hate competitiveness. If anything, competitiveness is a problem in this game. And yeah Kent, plus, the amount of people here that play daily or second-daily isnt really much. Only around 6 I think. That's not exactly a leage lol :P Other than that, before you consider the league everyone should vs Kent and Mano to see if they can win sometimes atleast. Fine @ the serious matches. I dont care anymore. I just dislike it. END? But for the league I think if theres a challenge from someone taking on someone significantly higher in "ranking" the lower level should pick any non scroller map. Scrollers = easy kos and extremely annoying. They're the only ones that have a reason to be banned imo Btw question here, does anyone know if a players Home-level is their best? Cause I've noticed that Wolf completely owns Onett. EDIT: Yay learning Falco. I'm sticking to him as my 3rd until I can use Lucarios Double Team better. And Raptor-meteoring (?) people with falcon now. Very risky :D I dont need a siggy no moar.
Macmaster92
Ray reminds me of myself when I hated competitiveness in games...
