I use default gamecube controller - I was thinking of screwing with the buttons like this:

 

L + R = Attack

 

A = Shield

 

Z = Special

 

B = Grab

 

X + Y = Jump

 

C stick = Smash

 

Analog = Walk

 

D-Pad = Taunt.

 

Then I realised it would take too long to re-learn this. Heh, I used it for a few games but I kept losing. It seemed pretty cool cause i connected falcons knee one more time than average.

This is all very much simpler than you're making it. Just explore the friends section on Wi-Fi mode and It'll all come clear.

I use default gamecube controller:

 

L = Special (Might fix back to shield)

 

R = Shield

 

A = Attack

 

Z = Grab

 

B = Special

 

X + Y = Jump/special

 

C stick = Smash

 

Analog = Walk

 

D-Pad = Taunt.

 

 

 

Sakurai made Kirby but he sucked in Melee... Sakurai didn't put DDD/MK in Melee... Captain falcon is his favorite character, but he sucks.

Same as SS4Alex, but i use the X and Y for jumping and make sure to turn the up analog jump off

 

 

 

And common, sonic has had a bad decade, give him this one! Seriously, captain falcon is a bit behind the times, with each of his specials adding a considerable lag or an awkward ending to his otherwise speedy game, and his recovery only going a maximum of 4 lengths. The best falcon fight i've seen didn't even use any specials, but that wonderful knee and speedy hit and run tatics. Sonic has the speed, as well as more effective specials, and an effective recovery that you can still air dodge with after using.

Cfalcon sucks because of his slow attacks, and low priority mainly. And he plays like a combo characters, which worked in Brawl, but because there is no combos in brawl...

Anyone wanna brawl? ;)

He didnt even know how to START with a pokemon cause it was always random and he kept trying to switch to charizard.

 

HE EVEN SPAMMED SIDE B AND UP B WITH SQUIRTLE AND COULDNT RECOVER FOR CRAP \

 

Vsed a Zelda and a Samus 3 times;

 

Once with DK, once with Ike and once with Olimar. I won all except Olimar - im not too good with him and I had immense lag with bob ombs dropping in sudden death... :ohnoes:

Basic Brawl is just like it says, basic. You can't choose anything besides your character, what stage is thrown in the lottery, and what item set is thrown in the lottery. That is all you get to decide for yourself. Team brawl is the same way, and spectator only gives you the option to bet on people.

 

 

 

 

 

I wish spectator had been given more options, like spending your coins to drop items on the players. Dropping 7 smash balls at once would have made it fun to spectate, but alas, we can't.

Wow kinda lame.

I thought they were like a game where you vs someone and it randomly draws one of your settings and one of your opponents etc.
