My black one is much better, but the rubber covering on the control stick fell off so I need to glue it back on. One (a purple controller with grips) acts very [developmentally delayed]ed and ends up moving the character in one direction, one (a white controller with a turbo button option) has no rumble and the shoulder buttons take A LOT of force to push down, and one (a pink controller with grips which is the one that actually works) had to go through maintenance by me because the left shoulder button's plastic link got stuck and I had to swap it with the purple controller's plastic link. So what i just said was that I took apart every single controller I had to figure out what was wrong with them. Of course I managed to rebuild them back the way they were. When I took apart the purple one, I blew out the dust and scraped off years of dead skin embedded between both halves of the controller, but when I put it back together to play with it it acted so freakin [developmentally delayed]ed that it deserves to be thrown in the garbage. With the white controller I fixed the control stick problem, but the shoulder buttons ended up being very hard to press. With the pink controller I managed to fix all of its problems and this is why I still play Brawl. If I'm lazy and I don't want to reach a few feet to get it, I'l just use the Wiimote/Nunchuk. No difference for me, most of the time. I've noticed that it improves my air game, because I am able to jump with my left hand while having my other hand on the C-stick (or C pad) at the same time, whereas I can't do that on the GC. I've also noticed that my ground game is lacking, though I'm not really sure why. I'm going to have to study myself more and see why I have this problem. :-k On another note, there is another Brawl tournament coming up in my area this Sunday, so I have to practice, practice, practice. I'll be needing your guys help this week. ;) At this moment I have three characters that I'm pretty evenly good with: 1) R.O.B. 2) Meta Knight 3) Falco. That's in order from by best to worst, even though my worst is not that bad, I need improvement in all of them so I have a good base of counter characters. Last tournament there where a lot of R.O.B.s and Snakes, so Falco is my counter for R.O.B. and MK for snake, but I need to research other good counters. Any ideas? Remember snake is also pretty cheap on some of his attacks. (imo his dash a is kinda the cheapest :? ) Ah, I have had SSBB since about 2 weeks after it came out in Aussieland, and I havent played it avidly, until a few weeks ago, problem is - I cant vs anyone but cpu. (and im not that good) Everyone I know is so un-pro at the game and have no idea how to play really. It's that or i take on the nerds at school who probably jigglyfan or camp with fox -.- So I main the most failest in the game, I think we all know who it is ;) , (second toon link) and there's a reason for it. I hate high tiers. Especially meta. Question is, is it normal to hate the ones who are overused just because the attacks are quick and spammy? Meta can also easily stall in timed matches. And snake is sorta overpowered. It's not that I actually hate those guys, its just that they're kinda overused. Anyway, as I said, I main the biggest fail in Brawl, and second toon link. Trying to learn mario but he's a bit too hard to use on cpu. So, I went over to use.. Ivysaur! Ivysaur, according to a friend I have, is good, yet underused. Which is why I like the people I use. They're not used by enough people. There's no way I will get better against people, since there's really no way. I dont have WiFi yet. It will be a few months until I do get it. Really all I want to know is, am I weird for using the underused people? BTW: I said im not good and the best cpu I can actually vs is 7. :lol: I dont need a siggy no moar. Azen mains TL, and he's one of the best in the world. Honestly, screw tiers, they aren't that important unless you pick MK. The high tiers are are almost all equal, low tiers are usually placed there because they have a big weakness. (Ness and grab release...) Don't worry, Toon link is a great character. I think it's kinda unfair towards other characters if they have a big weakness that some people can just pulverize...
