1. You play online - lag, and noobs who know it can own them 20 damage if they go near him while he falls, so they wont take the chance. Personally, a few times I have used D3, and dont get me wrong, if used properly his recovery is hard to gimp (and I know how to recover...) Even level 5 CPU's can just tap me and set me up.

 

Also, the 4 jumps REALLY ARE CRAP, have you seen how far they have went? LOL, 2 of those go as far as one of kirby's. So 4 jumps is equal to 2 kirby jumps.

 

All I'm saying is, he doesnt have a 'good' recovery. The point of recovering is getting back on stage, obviously, where, D3 can do that if your opponent is crap. So, really, anyone who thinks it's good just versus crap people who cant connect a good hit on him, cant knee him when hes moving ( :roll: ), cant even heel him.

 

 

 

Anyway, it sure isnt average or higher since if he isnt going to make it you have to go into helpless, where his air speed is kinda low.

But what if you're not playing a noob? You're talking to somebody who've played MANY good people NON-wifi. so your argument there is FLAWED. If a level 5 CPU can gimp your DDD, you're doing it wrong. DDD's 4 jumps are more than enough to get back to the stage, I have just tested it. DDD's fair has an extremely long range that if they try to gimp you, you can hit them far back enough that you can safely use UPb to return to the stage safely. Fair has lots of knockback.

 

Ok Kent believe what you want, but seriously if you think D3 has a good recovery, it seriously IS NOT GOOD LOL.

Well, unpredictability is good, but it depends on what you sacrifice, and if the method to completely stop it is the same. If you're playing a Snake, chances are your opponent is going to play it smart. They're going to block, A LOT. SH bair really doesn't fit for Snake's offensive game, it's definitely better off used as an emergency landing. However, doing a shff, then landing while your opponent is still in airdodging is SAFE.

 

 

 

And again, every Brawler interprets what they read on Smashboards and incorporates it as so. Therefore, as long as two people don't have the exact mentality, they shouldn't be too predictable at all. Having more options = less predictable, as well.

Lol, jab lock is pretty situational, but I found a pretty good mindgame for it. If your opponent is shielding on a platform, say Battlefield for example, and he has a high traction (Luigi, for example) You can hit him towards the edge of the platform, and he'll fall over and will be put in a normal state, but most people usually don't react fast enough so they land on the ground, as if they were hit. you can jab lock from there. :lol:

Yeah the way you cook grenades is by pressing and holding B, wait, and throw while I press and hold B, Shield, pick up, wait and throw.

 

 

 

To be honest my way has more options than the latter. One of them is being able to throw the grenade in ANY direction.

 

 

 

Oh and there is a tactic I love doing in Team Battles. It involves Snake planting a C4 on his partner. Either the partner can transfer the C4 to the opponent and then you blow him up, or you can save your partner if he fails to get back on stage.

 

 

 

Oh and make sure this never happens to you if you get mixed up with the enemy.

Down Smash doesn't really do anything. Sure it hits and knocks you back, but the damage isn't too high and it can't KO as well as his other moves. Heck, sometimes I KO sooner with ftilt.

 

 

 

If you get hit by thunder, either you weren't ready for it or you got combo'd into it. It's annoying, but usually can be solved easily. Also, there are quite a few characters that can take advantage of thunder via bucket, reflecting, or healing.

 

 

 

But yeah, [bleep]es probably aren't necessary. A midair, moving Thunder would probably do it anyway.

Well... sadly, that's not what I do. If you drop it, you have 5 options; up, down, right, left, or no throw. What I do, is I cook it directly, and before it explodes, I drop it and throw it, and sometimes I just throw it the way it is. So basically, it's the one you previously stated I do and you do stuck together. More options then. And the way you do it, you can't drop it. If me and you didn't lag when we played, I could show you what I mean. :(

 

 

 

And [bleep]es aren't necessary, because Pika has a good edgeguard anyways.
