I finally crafted a Fez. :thumbup:

 

But Saharan Spy is hard. Getting the first disguise is hell.

I play Saharan Spy without the Fez. YER is harder getting the first disguise, but after that you can string together huge chains of backstabs without people noticing. It's also great for engie/sentry combos.

 

I used to use the DR, but with YER it's pretty bad. I've switched to IW now, as the C&D just isn't quick enough for me. I've seen normal knife + DR played amazingly, but I'm too attached to my YER.

 

The reason I don't use the fez is I'm pretty sure it's also got that negative effect - extended visibility time when shot or bumped into. Also, Modest Pile looks better.

Even when I'm not playing Saharan Spy, I still wear the Fez because it looks cool.

 

But seriously, I have huge issues getting the first disguise.

 

But after I get that first disguise, it's like, chainstab the entire payload.

Spy is pretty much all I play, so with the Modest Pile and the H'ween Skull I crafted I really don't need any more hats. I guess I'll just start stocking up for a max head.

Keep in mind crit pipe bombs have large blast radius and are easier to explode on impact. But killing 60% of the other team in the first 10 seconds, is a feat of amazement on its own.

Same thing I do. Its so hard to anticipate where it'll hit because it bounces around and unlike the rockets, slower and not straight

Thing is, the grenades have an arc. Use that to your advantage, like firing over walls, bouncing them off walls around corners, etc.

How I get most of my kills - Play as soldier on 2fort. Rocket jump surprise attacks on enemy battlements = dead snipers.

2fort's snipers tend to be idiots. If they can't shoot it, it doesn't exist. For bonus fun, rush down the middle ramp as a scout, most likely dodging one or two sniper shots on the way, and watch as none of them notice you shotgunning them from the side one by one.

Ambotting sniper on 2fort today. I made him rage quit as a Demo for blowing him up all the time without being in line of fire >:3

Today: I traded my Mongolian hat (First hat I've crafted yesti) + Horrific Headspiltter (from a crate) to someone who traded me the Grenadiers Softcap. I HAS A FULL SET! All I need now is to hunt down description and name tags to make it a lol'worthy set :3

Snipers are my favorite class - they practically have to stand still for at least a fraction of a second to get a kill. Heavies and soldiers are pretty good too.

 

Seriously, snipers on 2fort are essentially a free YER disguise.

I haven't played TF2 in a few weeks now, so I'm rusty as hell...except on sniper, where I was dominating on Well. One instance, I headshoted a demoman (-150 health) a second before he sticky jumped. Needless to say, we know where his remaining 25 hp went. :mrgreen:
