Direct hit is excellent for when you're high enough above your opponents, which should be always. Anyone here still prefer then shotgun over the gunboats? I find the gunboats make rocket jumping around so much easier. Also means I can get to that excellent spot and not worry about an engie whipping out a pistol and killing me before I can shoot at him.

For some reason, I haven't unloacked the gunboats yet. Pity... They look really cool.

I personally wouldn't ever give up my shotgun as Soldier. Too many times I'm in intense combat and my rocket runs out. Need a backup weapon.

 

Oh, and DH kills me as Heavy a lot. So, if the other team has lotsa Heavies use that.

You know how people change how a certain Character Model or Hat etc. looks it means Valve can put this in the game for all to use which means different looking players etc.

From strach. You basically have to know how to model/texture/work with models to an extent.

I'm actually working on a concept I thought of, it's called the Runnin' Paperboy's Bag.

 

It can replace the pistol on the Scout, and it lets you throw newspapers at the enemy. If you hit them, they pick it up and start reading it. They can drop it by switching weapons which takes about two seconds, and they retain full movement. The newspapers are spammable, and each bag only has 12 before having to refill. This annoys the enemy because a jerk is yelling for a dispenser and they're too busy reading up on the earthquake in Haiti to do anything about it :D

 

Or in the case we can't make completely custom items for this... meh, I'm out of ideas. So obnoxious song time :D

I should probably try and get into remodeling or at least reskinning items in TF2.

It takes a bit of getting to know where each one should be installed. Not everyone follows a guideline on the folders. If it comes with a read-me follow it. Else it takes a bit of know-how. e.g. the 3 folders for the sentry minigun are to be placed in Steam/steamapps/<username>/team fortress 2/ tf/ if you have any problems just add me on Steam, you can add me by clicking on the link in my sig and adding me, I'll be more than happy to help. Same goes for anyone having any trouble!

So last night I was playing as Demoman a lot, trying to get the eyelander (so I can turn it into a keyblade :twss:), got the first milestone and what do I get? 2 chargin' targe's, after I already have one <_< What's a guy gotta do to get a claymore around here!!!

 

P.S. what's a class token? The thing you make with 4 of the same weapons or something?

Class token is used to make a class-specific hat.

 

3 of the same main weapon or melee weapon > scrap metal

3 scrap metal > reclaimed metal

3 reclaimed metal > refined metal

 

3 refined metal > random hat for any class (81 weapons needed in total)

OR

4 refined metal + class token > random hat for that class (112 weapons needed in total)
