No idea why they do it, a lot of people hate it and will quit if they play on one of those servers. It would be quite easy to cheat by using custom models.How? Jaziek Posted January 22, 2010 Author Share Posted January 22, 2010 playing my second ever scrim yesterday on badlands, spire was getting capped, I was in lobby, I ran out through the bottom, RJed up to the spire, got one scout while I was airborne with the rocket, then switched to shotty and killed the other scout. Instead of letting yourself fall and take great fall damage/die you rocket jump just before you hit the ground, it deals a small amount of damage to you and you don't fly up high enough to take fall damage after it. You could probably also do this to stop yourself falling to your death if you just missed a ledge and would fall out of the map. Such as on arena_lumberyard where that small health bottle is.
