Graphically updated monsters

Important information if making an image transparent:

 

 

 

We have recently changed how we present the bestiary images, so that we no longer require a black border around them. The images should still be a GIF however, there is just no need for a black outline. If you are just posting images directly from the game screen (with the background included), this does not effect you, continue saving them as a PNG.

You've not wasted my time at all, every submission is valuable to us, so I thank you for the time it took you to submit it. To the point of the borders, we're not focusing on removing the borders from existing images, we are simply not including it on any new images we submit. If you could continue to take pictures of the graphically updated monsters, or make the posted ones transparent, minus the black borders, we would greatly appreciate it.

If only you had seen it the first time I posted such a list. ;)

 

 

 

It's a couple of months out of date, so you'll want to check each monster against the master list before going out and taking pictures, but it will at least tell you which monsters are f2p without having to look each one up individually. :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sirlonewolf, your pictures are absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately, part of the reason they look so nice is because you have anti-aliasing turned on. :( AA makes transparentizing pics very difficult, so we prefer not to accept pics taken with it on, as noted in the first post of this thread. :( Thank you very much for wanting to help and for going to the trouble of taking all of these pictures. If you would like to try again with AA off, any pictures you have would definitely be welcomed with opened arms. :D

Unfortunately, your pictures seem to have the same problem of AA as Sirlonewolf's. :( As with him, if you would like to take new pictures with AA off, they would certainly be most welcome. As a side note, you can edit posts to include new pictures (if your posts is the last in the thread), or to include details like the monster name and ID number. ;)

I could probably make them transparent using photoshop but I'm not quite sure how you guys do the other pictures.

 

 

 

Do you just use magic wand/lasso to crop and then save as a gif file? And do you still put a black outline around the image?

That's how I used to do it. And the black outline rule was changed, it's no longer needed :).

Hallo,

 

 

 

I noticed that new images have been placed on the Tzhaar Fight Cave guide, but for the Tz-Kek you put up thesame image for both the lvl 45 and lvl 22 versions. Here's a new picture for both of them, as you got them pretty much mixed up.

Now as you can see, at the lvl 45 monster you have a picture of the lvl 22, and at the lvl 22 there is no graphically updated monster picture yet.

 

 

 

Also, in the guide for the Fight Caves, both the lvl 45 and the lvl 22 look thesame, while they are quite different from eachother.
