July 11, 200817 yr I dont know if this is the wrong place, but, a tiny suggestion for the GE site. See the 'movers and shakers'? What does it do any good to anyone to know that pots went up 1 gp (100%). The reason is just that, its percent based. My idea is a price based change. Say AGS drops 1M, its only like, 2% of the real price, but, 1M is alot more to take note of than that 1 gp pot increase. So, in conclusion, have the 'movers and shakers' based off price change, not percent change. 99 Crafting :: 39,750th || 99 Attack :: 1,775th

July 11, 200817 yr Support. Nothing in the top price rises and price drops are rarely worth more than like 20gp.
July 12, 200817 yr Support. The Grand Exchange website has some pretty useless features in there, but this is one which can be changed to become useful. ~ W ~

July 13, 200817 yr hmm...i dont know..would a godsword moving down 1% (-850k) be more of a shaker than air runes plummeting 1gp (-6%) ? I dont think so. Look at the trade volume of airs and you will see that those runes dropping 1gp would be very big news. I think they should keep it this way. 100% F2P85 Mining achieved on Dec 4, 200785 Smithing achieved on May 28, 2009
July 13, 200817 yr They should work out a good formula. And you should be able to choose to see by %, by gp, or by a supercool formula. My goals: 5M coins: 4350K+ coins 200k+ items - 2 dec 5M coins - 16 dec I have gotten my 5M by christmas. -bah this is only here for historical purposes now, I got 20m+ already "fail, well atleast the title,i wont read it with that colours""If you hadn't posted in rainbow I would actually give this a proper read""Colours suck."*I remove colours*"Where did all the colors go!? This is now 40% more likely to be tl;dr'd due to the lack of colors."
July 13, 200817 yr no support as its perfectly fine the way it is. It's not too hard to do the mental math :)
July 14, 200817 yr 100% support. "In the beginning, the universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."
July 14, 200817 yr no support as its perfectly fine the way it is. It's not too hard to do the mental math :) You don't seem to get it. Important price changes are being bumped off the front page because things with tiny prices that nobody cares about go up a few gp. Support.
July 14, 200817 yr Perhaps you should be able to choose (when you are logged into the website) the main categories to compare 'Movers and Shakers' from. One point you could be selling loads of runes and not want to know that some sword you can't wield is going down in price. Heres a few factors I thought of you could use Factors: - Amount Sold over previous day - Amount Item is worth - Actual Usefullness (an expensive one use item is ranked lower than a less expensive close combat item that doesn't degrade) - Theme (Jagex tracks big item categories which are doing well, and these are noted on the Grand Exchange Beta, in a separate section, maybe?) Boom! Dead Shot
July 15, 200817 yr I think that both percent change and amount changed should be taken into consideration. Percent change is very important because when you're investing in something you don't care how much the unit cost changes by, only what percent it changed by. Amount changed is also very important as you explained because if an Item drop 1 or 2 mil that is definitely something worth noting. "We will certainly not be gaining money or members with this update. Instead, we are doing this for the good of the game, which is as dear to our hearts as it is to you."- JAGEX, December 13, 2007
