October 28, 201015 yr "hey guys i'm dating my best friend's ex" always touches a nerve with me Why are you losing her? If you're escalating kino like you should be, and she's still texting you like that then what's the deal?

Tell him to grow up. Alternatively, tell him that if he has something to say about the situation, then he should just say it, rather than make sly comments. I've said the first one many times. I just want him to stop, not carry on making sly. I'd rather no comments at all than blunt, direct comments. 2257AD.TUMBLR.COM
October 28, 201015 yr He's suggesting you tell him to man up, say things once and for all, and then quit it. Matt: You want that eh? You want everything good for you. You want everything that's--falls off garbage can Camera guy: Whoa, haha, are you okay dude? Matt: You want anything funny that happens, don't you? Camera guy: still laughing Matt: You want the funny shit that happens here and there, you think it comes out of your [bleep]ing [wagon] pushes garbage can down, don't you? You think it's funny? It comes out of here! running towards Camera guy Camera guy: runs away still laughing Matt: You think the funny comes out of your mother[bleep]ing creativity? Comes out of Satan, mother[bleep]er! nn--ngh! pushes Camera guy down Camera guy: Hoooholy [bleep]! Matt: FUNNY ISN'T REAL! FUNNY ISN'T REAL!
October 28, 201015 yr Because you'll come across as desperate and needy, and most likely put her off you. He's right. Don't be a sentimental sap just yet.
October 28, 201015 yr Maybe confronting him about stopping these quick, sly comments will work. In my experience, people make sly comments only because they think they're getting away with it. Tell him he's not in a harsh but serious sounding manner could stop him. Unless, of course you already mentioned he's not being sly about the whole thing, then he's being a jackass. A good punch to the face fixes these things. "The cry of the poor is not always just, but if you never hear it you'll never know what justice is."
October 28, 201015 yr Why are you losing her? If you're escalating kino like you should be, and she's still texting you like that then what's the deal? Well there enlies the problem, due to schedule confliction I may be able to text her and IM her into the wee hours of the night, but in the past 7 months I've only gotten to hang out with her a total of 4 times. We're just two very busy people, and while I'm willing to drop everything for her and make it work...she seems determined to keep her plate as filled to the brim as possible. Also there's another guy, that I thought left the picture many moons ago, who seemingly is "ahead" of me. I'm not 100% because I've heard both that she's into him and that she's really uninterested. And since she doesn't know I know about him at all, I feel weird asking her about it.Which retrospectively, it shouldn't because you should be able to talk about anything with your partner, prospective or current. Still bugs me though. Quote Quote Anyone who likes tacos is incapable of logic. Anyone who likes logic is incapable of tacos. October 28, 201015 yr Just because she doesn't want to drop everything for you doesn't mean you're losing her. Why should she give up her interests - her future - for you? I don't know what it is she's doing exactly but I'm sure they're things she enjoys and/or things that will help her get into college, etc. very much so, and her family values are what keeps her schedule air tight once she does return from her thousands of activities. I like that about her, but she just doesn't have enough time for me :/ Although your words were of consolation, it hadn't occurred to me that my whining was that of a selfish post-grad. I still wish she had time for me, but what she is spending time on is rather important, especially to her. I suppose I can wait...I just feel as though the other guy's gonna sweep in before I know whats going on. I've never really had to actively compete for a girls attention before. October 28, 201015 yr In my experience if she is into you then she will make time. If brad pitt asked her out she wouldn't be busy. I tried to meet up with my current girlfriend early when she wasn't that into me and we were only FBing and she was always busy because of uni, her 2 jobs, her volunteer work, plans with others and mma. When she became more into me her schedule cleared right up even though she still does those things. I don't know what's been said and how she acts around you so I can't give accurate advice on this, but maybe push pull a lot more. Act really into her, and then really disinterested.
October 29, 201015 yr I tried to meet up with my current girlfriend early when she wasn't that into me and we were only FBing One thing I seem to notice, you and many other people I know ALWAYS seem to only settle down with a girl who's been a [bleep] buddy. share them around@@@ Popoto.~<3
October 29, 201015 yr I meant facebooking :P It was when we had only seen each other a couple times in group settings. She was somewhat attracted, but I hadn't built much comfort at the time. We 'weren't exclusive' for a while but I wasn't having sex with anyone else either. There are plenty of girls who will be [bleep] buddies, you just have to know how to do it. Don't think for a second that only the town bicycle will do it. It should 'just happen' without much of a build up or comfort building, (alcohol helps) and be so incredible she wants more. Roll the dice sometimes. Push a girl against a wall and go for a kiss, what's the worst that could happen?

But I see what you're getting at.Not if she never gets your name :shades: But yeah, Iamdan, I don't think the majority of people have that option, as most of the girls we meet will be in an environment where you can't just walk away. Chicks in bars are, in a way, easier to work with than girls at school or a job.
October 29, 201015 yr The girls at school/a job don't go to parties/clubs? If not, then go to the parties/clubs and meet the girls there if you want a [bleep] buddy.
October 29, 201015 yr what's the worst that could happen? Well, since when I tried that a few weeks ago she started accusing me of rape when I didn't even touch her. :| (I took my shirt off, on noes a torso! call it rape of my eyes! <_< ) my friend's taking me out next weekend and she's volunteered to be a wing-woman for me. October 29, 201015 yr As much as I love hearing about [bleep]buddies, lets tone the conversation down to a more 'family' tone. I know this is the relationship thread, and that lenience is required, but just tone it down.
October 29, 201015 yr Never thought I'd be posting in here, yet here I am. So, here's a little background. I'm currently in an open relationship with a girl who went to high school with my roommate. While I would love to take the relationship to a more serious level, I've gotten the vibe the she that wants to keep it the way it is now. Since this weekend is Halloween weekend, they're all going partying at a notorious party school about 45 minutes away from our campus. I would be going with them, but I have schoolwork that needs to be taken care of. I'm not naive about what goes on at these parties since I've partied there before, so I'm a little worried at what might happen without me being there. It's not that I don't trust her, but I just have a bad feeling about her going up there. Should I tell her that I'm uncomfortable with her going there? I don't want to come across as a parent or that I'm smothering her fun, as that may endanger any further progression in our relationship. Last.Fm My Bloggy Proud to have served on Tip.it Crew
October 29, 201015 yr I find that if your girlfriend is engaging in something you are uncomfortable with is just to be direct. Just let her know that you care for her and don't want to lose her. 2257AD.TUMBLR.COM

October 29, 201015 yr This is a long one. *SIGH*So i went out with this girl for 5 month's her name is ''W'' We were active and really in love right. but she was jelouse like any other girlfriend. she used/still hates this one girl name ''M'' i guess we flirted i would leave her comments on her myspace how shes pretty etc right. and ''W'' thought i was cheating on her. We ended up having a nasty break up but we were still friends I tried getting back with her but she needed space beacuse of the whole me lying to her and cheating etc. She then went out with a dude named ''E'' i hated this guy he was a totally D BAG not beacuse im jelouse or w/e he was a D BAG.anyway during her supposed relationship with ''E'' we would ''hookup'' and kiss and etc. so basically she cheated on him.eventually he found out and we had a good old fist fight. Recently they broke up this monday and this whole week me and her have been kissing and you know spending way more time togather we carpool and she told me lets fix our relationship. ''E'' Is trying to get back with her and still acting like there going out but ''w'' wont have any of it and told him i need space. Im trying to give her space and show her how ive changed acting like a gentlemen and respect her[she said that i changed alot while she was dating ''e'' and its true] so im trying to show her the guy she fell in love with is back The thing is i dont know when to ask her out if i do it too soon she say no cuz she barley getting over the guy [ they have like almost a year togather] they were supposibly engaged u know the little fake kind where oh yea were engaged and [cabbage] if i wait to much she might go back to ''E'' I Love this girl there is no doubht about it this is the one and Yea im young w/e but im seriouse shes the one.yesterday she fainted while we donated blood and she was taken to the hospital and i was like in the waiting roomblood pumping etc concerned about her nothing else mattersand she is my number one priority like shes more important then my own family in short im in love with this chick. So what do i do?

Be honest about your feelings, tell her you need something more serious. If she can't provide that, it's time for you to part ways.
