The pictures ok but you can tell its just been pasted onto a black 300x150 background, loads of white dots added then simple text to finish off.. Well I guess you achieved what you were aiming for but to be honest it looks like a 5 minute job.. And im not just tryin to be rude could I'd probably give you much more credit if you spend hours on something rather than a couple of minutes even if it didn't turn out a masterpiece, it's the effort that counts.

- The image is not a pixel in it. A pixel is an image you have drawn your self, than shaded in pixel by pixel with a 1px line too. Look around the boards ,you will see tons of great topics and examples.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

- Learn not to rip stuff. I'm going to try and let you off easy unlike I was in the past, or have let off others before. Ripping stuff is not art. Now, you probaly had fun making this, yes. But next time perhaps try and make your own stuff in it. Instead of the stolen picture, try and draw your own guy with a kickass sword in his hand. -I get the idea about the background. More or less you wanted him to kind of be jumping from the ground, and a shot is shown in the sky. Well, you can still work with that. However, add more details.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For example, how about some clouds? Some nice, dark grey clouds can realy pull together the mood. Or even better... what about a blood red moon. I can tell you pixeled the moon (at least i think you did, so i'm going to assume you did) and it isn't bad. Add some clouds and such, basicly put the sig more into the mood you want it to be.

What i would sugest for a basic text is to just simply put your name , in a smallish type font In the bottom right corner, or top right corner, and then under it in smaller text the "pure ownage" thing. It is unecsiarry to post Samples when you have your name on it btw, because who wants to steal a sig with someone elses name already on it? :D

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

a good font site would be http://www.dafonts.com also just google "free fonts" for a lot more sites. Choosing the right font can help alot in your text.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

- Also, add a boarder. You realy couldn't tell with this one, but basicly, add a 1pixel line all around the sig. If all your edges are already black do a 1px black line all around it, and then after it a 1px white line. it will help your image a TON.

I'd say its more minimalistic if anything. Perhaps in the future (towards the person that has the sig we are talking about) use stock.xching (google it) or http://www.deviantart.com to get stock photos for sigs :P
